Thanks for your work with Desmond. My LOST watching crew is really enjoying the character. Des has quickly become my personal favorite.
My favorite scene of the series, so far, is the exchange between Des and Jack on the hillside. We've watched it a few times (what can I say, there's really nothing else good on TV!), and I'm struck by Des's expression when he learns that Jack is no longer married. It seems a mixture of pity, interest, and even a little amusement? If it's not too spoilerish, could you share with us what the script/director instructed for Des in that moment?
