I heard the Commodore boarded looking fer those Navigation Reports that I forgot...er..that the guard dog ate. Good thing that I was cleanin' the galley and the mess, else those empty tankards, pitchers and cauldrons would still be smellin' of dark, Carribean Rum and Mang Tang. As to the latrines...I hope somebody took care of that, else we be up the river without an oar!!!

Dang that Cap'n Tiberius and his "...Clamdigger, just one more drink mate" and "...McMang, you can't leave me alone up here with all of these fine lasses".

P.S. There's a rumor that the Admiral is coming to inspect the ship and the crew...blimey!

Thanks for offerin' dear Myha.

But it seems somebody plundered my closet and I have naught else left to wear.
<---------------------------

A trip to Tortuga to find the latest in pirate vamp fashion is in order me thinks!
I hear there's a new shipment of frills and lace, stockings and T-back panties to
keep us busy shopping all day! I need some new heels anyway
since I ruined mine stepping in all the slop I came back to. Wanna come?

We can get facials whilst the cabana boy feeds us grapes and brings us drinks
and I hear the dashing Jack Sparrow is around...maybe we can catch a glimpse!

Myha
10-30-2005, 12:16 PM

There be no shame in helping a good lass with her corsets and stockings, whether that be helping them on or off! I be a fine judge of beauty, and you lasses win first prize! What be wrong with fetching a drink for the indecisive lady or another corset for the fair maiden? It brings far greater rewards than the normal deck swabbing and any harassing indignation that the crusty crew might deign appropriate.

So, when we reach port next lasses, briging me along to the lace shops, and I'll be fetching you drinks and garters with pride (and eyes wide open)!

T

Cap'n T, as always a rousing speech. It seems that I did take the last situation a bit too far in that seaside port town, but at least we took our booty first...as well as our loot!

I do be your Master of Swords, and shall sail by your side in calm and in storms. But not all situations require a sword to win the battle. It seems that the Commodore enjoyed the food and drink from the galley on his official inspection orders from the Admiral. After all, we can provide the courtesy to even the Navy during such moments, and I take pride in the grub and grog that I do serve.

Conveniently after crew muster, whilst the Commodore be cataloging the cargo hold for his tenth in tax and fifth in tarriff, it seems that his stomach did not cooperate. I may not worship Montezuma, but calculated use of his revenge does have its advantages during naval inspections. Apologies for the mess in the latrines Captain, but it's a small price to see him quickly off without Her Majesty's share of your latest loot. At your service Sir!

-Mang

P.S. Don't drink the honeyed ale, it's the cask I brewed for the Commodore. And do avoid the leftover mutton, for the same reason.

P.P.S. Cap'n T, as to your log entry, I do be glad to stand deck and steer Her wheel whilst you conduct those important navel inspections, of which you said were overdue...

Sorrow filled the party I missed
More important matters to attend
The son’s love had father turn ill
When said and done he is gone
A soldier of the second war of the world
A captive of the enemy he had been
On the morrow lay him to rest
In uniform of pressed green
With medal and ribbon of honor pinned
With noise of a salute by the twenty one
Music of the bugler with taps and revelry
Among the many white crosses of those gone before
By the son’s side I will stand in reverence
To pay homage and respect to the soldier
For you and I, he was the solemn soldier
To ensure that you and I may speak words unbound
Gave of himself to maintain the freedom we hold dear
For others he is Husband, Father, Brother, Son and Friend
A request to the Gathered I do ask
That in between your reading, search and post
Take a moment of silence with head bowed
Giving thanks for this soldier and all those alike
With remembrance of the friends and families who feel the loss

On Bended Knee

God holds a special place
For those who stand against evil
And those times were so dark
But when many fled
Some stood their ground
And the spread of evil was halted
And with a force of will
Was evil destroyed.

God bless these special few

Amen

A spoken word

Thoughtful words you have expressed
In response to a recognized need
Each with encouragements considered blessed
Through our sanctuary for all to read

Self concerned of the internationality
Hesitated to submit with such emotion
Yet the replies bring forth a certain clarity
To understand that just takes one to cause commotion

Tears were shed during ceremony
For one shall be missed from future days
Laughter from the heart’s memory
Will come forth from where it stays

And yet tonight I shed a tear
As something dawns upon my mind
Reading you words to hold dear
Realized friends are here to find

And so as reflected we have done
In our way Lifted it to Heaven
A day set aside for this very one
This year falls on eleven eleven

Now back to the quest with passion of past
Continue on with heads held high
As off we go with Tib’s riddle of last
For another episode is nigh

My sincere thanks to you all for you kind words. Seeing such positive reactions through this medium of communicating with people never seen, has given me newfound faith in my fellow man. Thank you Questers for that!

kids off to school at last,
commute to work just down the hall

This extra curricular quest activity
indeed affects my productivity;
alas, my fascination grows each day
in this addictive, intellectual soiree.

Oft times my mind will wonder
to postulations posted yonder
and wonder how you can be so clever
and how could I contribute to this endeavor?

Perhaps some entries a costume contest?
But I for one never would have guessed,
that the one tossed in because it is dear
the meaning to me so very clear,
would touch the hearts of others.

My li’l man ‘o faith is now eleven
but that photo of him reveals the gift of heaven
in this world of woes and evil men
we must cherish the gift of our children

If the ship I must take charge of now
then Cin take the stern, and Kimbers the bow,
Mang raise the sail and Todell batten the hatch
because to Oahu we will dispatch.

Well, this cabin boy is deeply disappointed by your false idolatry. Now pass the hookah!

PS: I was poking around in the index of links last night. I know it's been said to death, but major kudos again to Cin and whoever else helped put this together. What an amazing collection of resources!

Yep, yep..... That Cin can be pretty resourceful! When she ain't full of rum, showin 'er bum to the commodore.

So, was the name of this here ship finalized with Tib's post callin 'er THE SEA RAVE?

And do we have an official flag to sail 'neath the Jolly Roger?

Hookah pipes? Avast!! Have we sailed through to India?

But thanks for the kudo's and I'll be sure to try to keep up with the links as we

Guess I should have looked 'er in the eye... but me one good eye was lookin down whilst me glass eye popped out at the sight and shot across the deck, lodged itself in a knot whole with me trying to pry it out with me sword. This getting the Cap'n's attention and me trying to explain why I was carvin a whole in his new ship. Threw me in the hold he did. Myha...a little tighter please...

Let's see what I've found so far:

There's this (http://www.fairygothmother.co.uk/newimages/70-m29i.jpg), or this one (http://www.verymerryseamstress.com/bigred03.JPG), very lady-like, hmmm...or a little more medievel (http://www.velvetrosedesign.com/rosepic/medbride1.jpg), but this...
this (http://store1.yimg.com/I/sirenssecrets_1866_138668704) seems so much more less restrictive, eh? The Govnah would be pleased.

I love the last one!!! We can put that gargantuan jewel we picked up off the luxury liner last week into your lovely navel.

May I suggest this costume (http://www.tableauxdesign.com/mardi_gras_2001/056_parade.jpg) for our dear Mang? Seems appropriate for a masquerade ball.

And perhaps this (http://www.tableauxdesign.com/mardi_gras_2001/103_3mask.jpg) for our dear Captain?

Masquerade ball............I missed that. *does happy dance*

Love your ideas Todell, especially the Cap'ns

It be another beautiful day on this here island
But the lords and ladies be miss'n thar treasure.
So as a crew we must decide
To once more sail upon the sea
Or take this isle for our very own
For the good people here grow weary of their masters.
