Before giving in and buying the Region 1 dvd set.
I then watched the remaining 13 episodes straight through, pausing only for dinner.
I need help :(

But it's so good i can't help it! So, I've since watched the first three episodes of season 2 and am now up to date.

Any other brits done this? I can't be the only one.

i watched the first season in one go, over the course of a weekend. i'm really glad i did that; it heightened the excitement and anticipation of the whole thing. watching season two episode by episode, week by week, is killing me :/

i think i know who tiny time machine is.

I watched 11 to 25 in about a week. I had to borrow DVDs off a colleague and then try to slot it in with my coursework. But I managed. And can I be blamed if my work suffers a teeny tiny bit for my fandom? I don't think so!

My work hasn't suffered (i was off work anyway, thank god) but i'm sure my eyesight has. 13 episodes in as many hours can't be good for the ol' peepers hahaha

Im a Brit too. I got my brother hooked on Lost watching channel 4. He just couldn't wait so he bought the region one dvd. We watched practically the whole series in two days. This show is great. It is quite addictive. LOL.
I am also up to date with season two as well.

Take care. :-)

*sigh* I wish I could catch up with Season two too. I need to start doing some serious topiccy discussion but i'm always paranoid that someone will bring something up that I haven't seen yet.

I just bought the special 8 disc Region 1 set as I couldn't wait another week to catch up with the story. We watched all the episodes back to back when they arrived mid-morning on Saturday and didn't go to bed until Sunday lunchtime :drowsy: We're saving the extras for next weekend

Even my hubby is hooked which is a major achievement as he hardly ever watches any TV, my kids are almost as obsessed as I am - my 7yr old has been scouring the net for any info/pics on the program (he has a crush on Claire !!) and my girls have been moping around for days since finding out a certain someone died. How we're going to last out till we can get hold of Season 2 I don't know !!

I think it's amazing how many people I know, who don't usually like genre telly, are really into Lost. In fact I haven't met anyone who has watched it that isn't completely hooked! My colleague lent me her season one DVDs so I could catch up with her and she wouldn't have to keep quiet about spoilers. It's so strange for me to have someone in real life to talk to about a show I love.

8 discs?! Wow, my set only had seven. Once you're done watching could you describe what's on disc 8?

I had the Region One DVD set the day after its release...

But that said, I had already watched the entire first season!

I rattled through them until I got to the last two. I was in the weird situation of wanting to see them and not wanting it to be over :( I'm now fully up to date....this three week waiting thing for sweeps is KILLING me.

Roll on Box Set 2 :D

Haha, I watched upto episode 11 of series 1 then gave into temptation and got a mate in America to send me them over - now I've watched every episode apart from 'Collision' (episode 8, series 2) :p

I watched up to episode 17 weekly on T.V, but then got series one and series 2 (episodes 1-8) on DVD and watched them all in a weekend. Im really glad I watched them all on DVD, because it does become more exciting (even though im now addicted to it). What really annoyed me about watching it on channel 4 was the 118 118 sponsors, they really got on my nerves.

the UK is so far behind in the televised series.. and the 2 part season 1 DVD set things for double the price as the whole season 1 region 1 DVD set is NOT where the enthusiasm is at!

I didn't have much choice about staying with channel 4, I started watching it there but I've just come to uni where I don't have a tv. Lukily enough though I have a technologically minded friend who downloads them all for me. I did feel all superior having seen them all but now I have to wait till january for more whereas everyone watching channel 4 still gets new lost every week.
