Sorry, that was a lame subject heading...

First let me say how much I've enjoyed your portrayal of Desmond. I thought he really added intensity to the show. I was interested in learning more about other work you've done and I was really (pleasantly) surprised to find that you're half Peruvian! I'm half Spanish (mother's side) and half Irish though I was raised in California, así que me encantó ver que tú también tienes sangre hispánica!

Anyway, my question is, have you ever done any acting in Spanish or plan to in the future? I would love to hear about it if you have/do! I majored in Hispanic literature in college and specialized in Spanish drama (reading and analysis, not acting...), so I'm really interested in Spanish and Spanish American theatre and film. Is there a Spanish or Latin American director or playwright that you particularly like?

I also wondered which language you consider your mother tongue? Or do you speak both languages equally well?

Que todo te vaya muy bien. Espero ver la vuelta de Desmond!

Saludos,
Laura

Gracias Desdemona

Me encanta tu nombre...

Alejandro González Iñárritu who did Amores Perros and 21 Grams is pretty amazing, I'm sure you'll agree and YES!! I would love to be offered a Spanish speaking role...vamos a ver...

Saludos

Gracias por tu respuesta, Ian! It totally made my day.

I completely agree; those films are so powerful. I also really like Alejandro Amenábar (Abre los ojos, Mar adentro, The Others); he does “thinking” movies :) (and Abre los ojos is so much better than Vanilla Sky).

I definitely hope some Spanish-language parts come your way!

¿Jamás has viajado por España? :)

So, I'm dying to know...

What did one snowman say to the other snowman?

How about… Freeze!

Or... How you doin'?

Ha ha ha…

Take care,

Laura

P.S. How does someone who types with one finger make diacritical marks? :)
