What happend to the guy whose lower leg got cut off in the pilot, right after the crash? They mention him once after that, then never again?

I have been wondering that lately too!!! What happened to him? I don't think he is among the survivors or we would have noticed him using some sort of rigged up crutches, right?

Or, wait, maybe his leg was saved and Jack just put on the tourniquet to stop the bleeding, then released it later and somehow the leg healed. I'm confused now.....

I've suddenly got the feeling that he must have died. Was his fate mentioned in the Pilot episode somewhere??? I have some vague recollection of someone reporting to Jack that the man died. Maybe I can find the script and see.......

I watched the pilot a few days ago and found myself wondering the same thing.

Well, according to Jack in the Pilot he didnt lose the limb. I guess it was just cut up. And I'm not sure, but I kinda thought the guy looked a little like Arzt. But yeah, that particular Lostaway has sorta faded into the background, for now at least.

It seems every LOST episode, there is one clip that embeds itself in my brain and I just get chills every time it pops up. Of course, the Walt appearance freaked me out for days, but this one with the chicken has me completely creeped out!

I just watched the Pilot, and all that was said is that his leg was healing fine,
and the tourniquet was taken off.

so, I guess it looked worse than it really was... and he's one of the red shirts.

Yeah, I bet he is still alive because if he died, you'd think that we would know about it, right? :biggrin:

not sure how everyone else means in, but like in the original star trek: if a guy was wearing a red shirt, he was, um, er, "expendible"....

She's 23 and a fan of 80's slasher flicks, but the chicken guy is just too much! :biggrin:

The man in the chicken suit that Hurley seen standing next to Jin in the Pantry doorway of the Hatch.

if I remember correctly during the scene with Locke and Claire in Abandoned by the cradle a guy walked by in the background with a walking stick. This could be that guy, who knows.
