LockeHurleySawyer 10-13-2005, 08:44 PM Just wanted to say hello to you all. I found out about this board from Lost Magazine. It is great! I am so thrilled. The ABC forum drives me crazy because I don't think it is heavily moderated and alot of bad posts get on there and stay on there.
I'm from NJ and am 33 years old. My favorites are a reflection of my screen name in that order. LOL! I've loved the show from day one and love Wednesdays now more than ever....it is no longer hump day - it is LOST day!

i, too, came from what i now refer to as "The Other(s)" site. i'm not quite sure how a website devoted to a tv program and its fans can carry an air of pretense, much less an air of pretense so thick you can hardly breathe, but that's the case with those "Others". you'll quickly find, as i have, that The Fuselage is a complete 180 from the Other site -- nobody attacks anyone, nobody claims to know it all or know more than anyone else here, and the natives are soooooo friendly!! :biggrin: i just love it here. hope y'all do, too.
also, you'll find in the OT forums that there are groups devoted to just about anything you can think of! i'm a Star Wars geek, metalhead and football fanatic, and i met fans of all three my first day here! all you have to do is look, and i promise you'll find fellow friends into the same things you are. besides LOST, i mean. ;)
take a look around, don't be afraid to speak your ideas, and enjoy!! once again, welcome!!

Thanks for the suggestion! I will look on the OT forums. Yeah, the "Others" site was just frightening. People attack each other, get foul etc. I was on one of the forums and you wouldn't believe how something so innocent turned into almost pornographic. It was disgusting and the moderators didn't take it down.
This site is definetly a 180 from that. I am SO glad I found it. I found it through Lost Magazine...and thank God I did!
Everyone who is new here I send a welcome out to you all too....I'm probably just as new myself - LOL!
