personally, i would have to agree with you 100%. Though Sayid is a major badass, and would probably know the best way to subdue someone, i think Sawyer's sheer will would drive to him to a glorious victory over any competition.

John Locke vs. Mista Echo? Boy... dunno...

Locke's got that knife throwing thing, while we have no idea what Shaft is capable of.


My money's on the Destiny guy with the knife throwing ability: don't tell him what he can't do...

has everyone forgotten that sawyer was whamping sayid in ep 2 when they pulled him off of him?

ill admit sawyer has been getting ALOT of *** kicking latly, but its either from guns, huge guys hitting him with a club after he has one useless arm and a butch chick.

second off, sawyer is good at fighting, remember in the flashback they said he headbutted the guy in the bar? he owned boone, and if he had actually hit jack back, he probably could have been even with him, (i say even cuz jack was REALLY pissed at that point) normally id say jack is too nice to win between them. sawyer has more experience. (did anyone notice so far hes the only one in altercations (other than jack vs ethan) that has used his legs to fight? that usually means some type of martial arts training)

id like to see him fight a lil more tho, cuz hes getting the wimp rack right now. i mean, anna is kinda funny. the bullet was cuz the others had their gun drawn first...and shaft.....would prolly beat him fairly anyway, but not nearly as easily. cuz shaft had his club ready, sawyer was on the ground, and didnt have time to get up thanks to his arm. but anyone notice he was the only one who even attempted against shaft?

Sayid Vs. Sawyer - Ohh....I think they'd tie....Sayer's big and rough, but Sayid's got experience and technique. But I think sawyer's rage might put him over the top if I had to choose one.

John Locke vs. 'Shaft' (tail section) {weaponry allowed} - Shaft would demolish him.

Kate Vs. Ana - Ana. Kate is very atheletic...and owuld put up a great fight. But ultimately Ana would destroy her.

Shannon (post Boone's death) Vs. Claire (post baby) - Claire....Shannon is tall yes, but she would just pull hair and scream and I think Claire has some survival in her and would ultimatley win

Jack Vs. Desmond - Ohh.....um, oh....I don't know? Ack!

Charlie Vs. Hurley - If Hurley could hold onto Charlie I thin Hurley would win, but Chalie's small and quick so....hmm....I think they'd fight for a bit then both just give up and laugh about it.

kate is pretty tuff, but anna seems stronger. would be interesting, but who cares whod win? it'd be hot.

jack vs desmond.....desmond. hes stronger and more fit.

charlie vs hurley.....hurleys 3 times his size. but he prolly wouldnt be able to catch charlie, so it depends on if charlie fights or runs.

jin vs michael....depends.....post kid abduction, michael, if hes mad enough, but pre kid abduction jin hands down.

Why are all you saying Ana would win? With or without a gun Kate would win... Don't you all remember her episode? She took down 4 guys in the bank.. And choked the marshal with her hands tied... She's quick with a gun too! Plus we have not seen ana shoot anyone yet? How do we know she has good aim? the only reason she gots sawuers gun was cause he was caught of guard he thought she was nice little girl.. Lol

Seeing as the Polar Bears, the Boars, and the Dharma Shark are all located in different areas, the Monster ('Security System") would become confused, overload, and shut down.

The Can you hear me now guy vs. the Dude, You're getting a Dell guy? I don't know, but if I hear "Blowin' in the Wind" on a commercial one more time, I may throw out the TV (note Phil Ochs reference).

lol i think its funny how everyone says that sayid would whamp sawyer when sawyer already had the upper hand in a fight against him.

remember, sayind threw the first punch...then sawyer kicked him in the stomach. sure sawyer threw sand at him, but it sort of makes up for the cheap first shot sayid got. when all was done, sawyer was on top of sayid punching him in the face......how can u argue with that FACT that sawyer was winning? and in the position they were in, it was NOT likly sayid wouldhave had a come bk.

i think anna vs kate would be a really interesting fight despite who wins. i still say its hard to say, kates faster, anna's stronger.

How about Sun vs. Jin? We've already seen her slap him around a little and she is becoming more independent every week.

Why does everyone think Desmond would beat Jack? Desmond's in good shape after training for a race around the world and being isolated in a hatch with nothing to do between 10 second button pushing sessions, but that doesn't mean he knows how to fight.

Jack, on the other hand, beat the shit out of Ethan Rom, a bona fide Other. You know that guy was a bad ***.

i would LOVE to see a charlie/hurley fight. that would be hilarious. best fanservice ever.

charlie would run around dodging and screaming like a little girl, and hurley would try to bodyslam him. he would probably catch charlie in a bear hug, but charlie would escape by pulling his hair. they would both let go - charlie due to his weakness from being suffocated, hurley crying from the pain of having his scalp near torn off. then they would give up and go have lunch :D

I'm not saying Sawyer isn't badass--he is. But it's a pretty even matchup.

i know its even. i love sayid almost as much as I love sawyer, but i feel the need to defend him more so right now on account he's gotten waaaaaaay too beat up latly. lol

I am so glad you two think that Kate could kick Ana Lucia's behind if she had to. I think because Kate has been kind of easy going (by that I mean not overtly kicking tail) people tend to forget about "Bank Robbing Kate"...I agree that if push came to shove, she would have no problem taking Ana out.

And not just because Kate is one of my favorites either :)
