was you guys here lastnight when TB and LB crashed? It was a dom attack! Then there was small little mishaps after that, and even JJ abrams said that if the boards crashed it was definetly dom! Lol then Faith pointed out on Yahoo, that it was interesting that the second the boards crash, burky comes in, when he is the one who said hed bring dom here! LOL Lastnight was alot of fun, and it was halarious when dom broke the boards (dom we know it was you!) Certainly no disrespect was meant towards Dominic, just some playful banter between bored fans. I do not know him personally and probably never will, but based on seeing numerous interviews of his and reading about him, I think he'd find it amusing, not scary. I mean seriously, we're all excited to be lucky enough to have a site where we can discuss our love of Lost, and where those involved with the show can visit safely and securely, but do we really want to come across as a bunch of crazed fans.* Some of the posts I've seen (most of which are directed at Dom, or regarding Dom posting) are really scary - and I'm not even a VIP.

Think about it:* If you walked past a bar and there were loads of strangers shouting your name, yelling how you HAD to go inside and talk to them, how they wanted to tie you to a chair, telling you that you're SO GREAT you have the power to bring that bar to a standstill...... would you go in, on your own, for a drink?* Really?

I'd walk away very quickly and remember never to walk past that bar again.

If Evangeline Lilly ever posts I'll be very excited, as I'm a big Kate fan, but I'm not going to be selfish about it.* I know its different as the Male/Female ratio is greatly biased towards the screaming Dom-addicts, but the principal is still the same. The board is full of DOM fans, and you need to share him, if he ever comes.

I'm not trying to be a know-it-all, and I know its easy for me to say because I'm a guy , and not addicted to Dom, but I just think maybe if we put as much energy into discussing and sharing our love of this fantstic show as some do obsessing about when Dom is going to post, then its far more likley to happen sooner.

Since the post that you quoted I have begun to look upon my previous actions with a new perspective. I do realize that I was being too fangirly. I greatly enjoy Dom's sense of humor and I sincerely hope to see him post soon. However I do agree that this thread has gotten out of hand. Fans are great for actors - they love them and they like to hear praises, feedback, etc from them.

I read one about Sawyer taking his pants off and various other attributes of his body. So they are all over the board, are you going to go and tell them to stop being fangirlie as well? Even in the allmighty LB, I've read some threads that were a little crazy.

First of all, I really doubt the chit chat room is the first place Dominic will go if he ever does come online. We (the crazy fangirlies) that were talking about the chair were joking. I don't know about the other posters but I'm NOT mad. I was never MAD! If you noticed I had a few of the :lol2: in my posts as well and I took part in the Dohm chant because I wanted the other posters to know that I was NOT angry or that I take things too seriously.

If Evangeline Lilly ever posts I'll be very excited, as I'm a big Kate fan, but I'm not going to be selfish about it.* I know its different as the Male/Female ratio is greatly biased towards the screaming Dom-addicts, but the principal is still the same.* The board is full of DOM fans, and you need to share him, if he ever comes.

i went to a lovely little LotR function where there was a costume contest. I dressed up as a dwarf but lost to 2 Arwens and the Nazgirls. tis good though, because they had enough prizes for everybody...

I think the VIPS are all so awesome taking the time to come on here. I really like to read their posts. Jorge did reply to a post I wrote to him and I thought that was just so sweet of him to take the time to do that. I posted a question to Dominic, but doubt that I'll get an answer. The Ringers, Lord of theFans movie premiere is held here in Utah at an event called SlamDance and I was wondering if he would be here. I'll be at the premeire either way, but it would be nice to catch a glimpse of him in person. ;)

I don't have one other person in Utah that watches LOST with me, sad huh. My friends and family are just not into it (crazy people). I've tried to convert everyone I know, but they just aren't having it!!! Grrrrr.... How could you not like this show?

Here on the backside of nowhere we have a large annual event called the Apple Bloosom Festival. Its a pretty big to do and we get celebs to make appearances. Sean Astin was kind enough to leave LA and NYC and come to our little city and be the Grand Marshall of the Grand Feature Parade. He held an autograph session the day before at a locale theater and I got to meet him there. He was a nice as could be and I got his autograph.

Very cool elfdream. Sean Astin seems like such a down to earth person. The backside of nowhere eh? That's pretty funny!! LOL :D

I kind of feel like a celebrity on this site, ya know? Its kind of cool. I wish I was a celebrity. My dream job has always to be an actress. When I watch movies or shows, I find myself trying to act out the emotions and expressions of the actors. Often, if they are crying, I will make myself cry because I am feeling what they are feeling. And then I have to talk to myself and tell myself it wasn't real.
I wonder if thats what Dom had to go through, with all those intense scenes in AIN...ya know? All I know is, if I ever do become an actress and I get to act with Dom, I will be crying - and that would before the cameras even bloody roll!

That would be great to see Sean and say that!! I really doubt that I will get close enough to any of them to say something. It's so CRAZY here during film premiere week, it's unreal!! You can sight alot of celebs just walking down main street in Park City which is cool, but I'm not the type to run up and ask for autographs and stuff. I did sit next to Nicholas Cage at a bar one year. It was when he was married to Patricia Arquette and they were both really nice and chatted with me and my friends. I've seen lots of other celebs just walking, but no personal contact other than Nic Cage. That was cool tho. It's just crazy with so much security and people and it's just this really small mountain ski town, so it's PACKED FULL! I do have my tickets to Ringers though so.... I'm crossing my fingers and toes that Dom is in attendance. I will have my digital camera ready!! ;D

I wish I had more free time so that I could volunteer at either of the festivals. I've had friends volunteer that ended up driving celebs and studio heads around or worked at the private parties (which they all seem to be)!! One of my friends partied with Ashton Kutcher and Seth Green a few years back -pre Demi days. She has lots of great pictures of her evening! But, I'm the single responsible mom and can't go around chasing stars all over the state!! LOL :lol2:

Don't worry sweets men should and WILL go for girls with good hearts, minds and are beautiful on the inside and not just looks. If they do they eventually find out that plain girls are amazing and have alot going for them. Besides do you really want a man who goes for looks alone. This girl Evi must be lovely on the inside as I don't think Dom is shallow! *I hope not* Ok I will just stop ranting now sorry but there is hope for us all! Besides he has not meet US yet! No...I do not write on this site...these are other people.
LJ = Live Journal (or did you know that? not important!) ;)
Domilie ~> Dom + Emilie= Domilie
Domilie's are people like me who think that Dom and Emilie not only have great chemistry on screen but should be together off-screen cause they are so cute! (can u understand my being so shattered about evidom, now? heehee)
Fanfics ~ > Fiction written to continue or go off in directions with different genres, such as Lost, Lord of the Rings, or Harry Potter. There are fanfics for nearly every single movie made, all you have to do is look for them. Fanfics can also be based on books, movies, tv shows, or musicals. Anything!
Why people like them? Because sometimes we hate the way the movie/show/book did things, so we write our own little ditties. Its legal only if you promise that your not stealing the stories themselves.

Ok, that helped alot. I knew that an LJ was a live journal, but I thought it was just for one person like my Blogger journal. So when I stared looking at Domilie (and I did figure that one out and totally agree about their chemistry vs evidom) I was really confused because there are so many different user names.

Geez... I am feeling old right now and you'd think with me being so old I'd at least know where damn french fries came from!! ???
