I've rewatched where The Others walk by Ecko and Jin in the jungle, and all the legs seem to be that of younger people. No hair on legs, pants rolled up or cut off (because they were taken from adults and were too long?), teddy bear...

Just a thought, but it sure would be creepy and with go with the whole "stealing Walt and Alex" theme.

I'm sure that total anarchy isn't what the writers had in mind, but maybe some of the symbolism is the same...
