Did anybody ever say how Jin got back to the island? I'm blanking on if we ever found out or not. I still think thats a little shady though, theres no way he could've swam back.

Actually.. no, I don't think we know how Jin made it back. There was fan speculation that he caught a ride by hanging on to the seabillies boat - but nothing ever showed that - and I'd think if he had he would have a clue where Walt Walt Walt!! is.

mhm ... good point! But maybe him being the son of a fisherman means he is a good swimmer?!? But it is funny that they all (sawyer/Michael and Jin) ended up at the same place on the island! I know the current got them back, but they still could've been apart a little bit more!

Really good point about Jin, I've been wondering about that myself.

Just doesn't seem to float though, him hanging onto the back of their boat, being drug thru the waters, I bet he found a piece of the raft wreckage and floated in, like Sawyer and Mike. He just got there sooner.

From the way he appearred on the beach, seemed like he had not been there long, long enough to be bound, but not beat up yet.

What do you want to bet, this is another of 'those questions' that we will never learn the answer to?

Watch Adrift, when its focused on Sawyer and you can hear Mike yelling for Walt, you can hear Jin in the background say "Sawyer!" then Saywer Replies "Jin!", Jin then says "Michael!" and then Sawyer starts yelling for Mike

and after then you never hear of Jin until very end

so there is no way he could of hitched a ride because he was still there after they left... but doesnt make sense really how he made it back!

It possible that after the confusion he decided to swim back to the island as quickly as possible, exhausting himself, and being caught easily by the tailenders when he fianlly flopped onto the beach.

Yeah, I think it'll be one of those questions too. I'd love to know, don't really expect to ever see it in the storyline.

I'm sticking with the theory that he hitched a ride with the "Others" who stole Walt... but as I typed that, I realized that makes no sense whatsoever because then the Others would have him, not the other Flight 815 tail-enders who have him.... so... ignore my post! :)

Would it have been possible that there was another piece of the raft that Jin could have held onto until he reached land? I wasn't really paying attention to see if they was any part of the raft missing when Michael and Sawyer were on it.

Do oceans have different paced currents? Because even if Jin grabbed another piece of the raft to hold onto they would have saw him when the light came up, but I also listened to the scene when they all three went into the water and you guys are right you can hear Jin,so he couldn't have hitched a ride either,so I don't get it.
