Now we know why Kelvin rescued Desmond!

I'd think we'd have to ... maybe in a semi-backstory for Desmond.

Personally, I'm still curious about how Kelvin "died." I know that we're (maybe) supposed to think it's realted to the "sickness" Desmond spoke of with Locke but I just find it odd that he dies and yet Desmond never got sick. You'd think that Kelvin was taking the meds (stuff in the vials), too. Did he die of old age? Was it the sickness? And where did Desmond bury him?

Yeah, I'm sure we'll get to see Kelvin. When ... that's the question! ;)

Yeah, I thought all those questions right when he said that Kelvin died. Just sounds odd to me.

I think they will. But, like Danielle, I think he has a lot more to share than just his past so they may hold off on revealing his backstories too soon.

maybe kelvin was a hallucination. OR he lured desmond into his trap of pushing the button and saving the world, and then ran off because he knew that desmond wouldn't be able to go after him. did desmond have the time to move his body and bury him, he said "I don't get out much"? ;)

but yeah, somehow we have to have some more info/flashbacks from the non regular cast members, because they were the only ones on the island before the main lostaways, and the only ones who can answer the questions!

Oh, I don't think he was a hallucination ... not for all that Desmond says they did together (from Kelvin finding him on the beach to their both pressing the button for "awhile" and his dying). But I do have this stinking feeling that Kelvin faked his death because he wanted out and left Desmond to go on doing it alone.

I either think that he faked his death or he is just "dead" to Desmond. Maybe he found him in the bunkbeds with his fluffy bunny and kicked him out of the hatch.
