View Full Version : May I Fawn Over You Also?
jumpandyell 01-03-2005, 02:17 AM Dear Andrea,
I've been reading your message board, and you are undeniably a sweetheart! And obviously very talented, since you've created a very memorable character in Nadia. I sincerely hope that she makes her way back into the Lost world so we can see more of your acting prowess. :)
And no, I have nothing clever to ask. I just wanted to come and fawn over you for a bit.
*fawn*
I'll try to refrain from the Wayne's World "I'm Not Worthy!" speech. But hey, if you need some male cheerleaders here on the fuselage. I'm in! Where can I sign up?
Oooh, I thought of something else to ask! (I'm on a roll now) Do you have an official website? There's andreagabriel.com, but I don't think it's yours, unless you're also an author/illustrator (maybe you could steal it?).
that Nadia chick 01-14-2005, 03:04 PM Aw, sugar. Fawn away. I LOVED Bambi. ;) I'm flattered and honored by your compliment. No, I' don't have an official website and that children's author Andrea Gabriel is messing with my world. It's actually pretty funny. On tv tome under the spot reserved for e-bay items, they have stuffed otters and polar bears-- cause she wrote about them. Now, maybe the polar bear could work after this Lost gig, but OTTERS? How does that relate? I'm sure I could think of something. We're both playful and like the water. Yay! I thought of it.
jumpandyell 01-15-2005, 08:05 PM Aw, thanks for your reply! As far as otters go... perhaps that hatch that can't be opened leads to a large underground otter den. That must be the connection! Otters always make me think of Otter Pops... I loved those when i was a kid.
Anyway, I think Andrea Gabriel The Actress needs a fan website. After all, you're a rising star! I could make you a fan website (I have geek skills). It would be my pleasure. With your approval and input, of course. And lots of photos for the gallery, for the fans to fawn over. ;D
Has the prominent guest spot on Lost helped open new doors for you? Any upcoming projects that Andrea Gabriel fans should be aware of?
that Nadia chick 01-22-2005, 02:15 AM I will definitely keep you all posted... Yeah, there's been some cool stuff that's come from Lost. I am so grateful to that show-- and to the Fury for birthing Nadia from his fertile brain like Athena sprang fully armed from the mind of Zeus... Except I was wearing a burka, not a breast plate. I have thought about having a website, but I am so cyber challenged that i realiy wouldn't know where to start. Do you have sites up already where I could find your info and such? Let me know. And I thank you for your support! : :)
jumpandyell 01-25-2005, 10:45 PM I am so grateful to that show-- and to the Fury for birthing Nadia from his fertile brain like Athena sprang fully armed from the mind of Zeus... Except I was wearing a burka, not a breast plate.
Nicely written analogy! I never became a fan of the Buffy TV show (even though I'm a fan of the movie - I love how campy it is), so the name David Fury never meant much to me prior to Lost. But now I have been witness to the man's brilliance! Walkabout and Solitary are definitely two of the best eps thus far in my opinion.
I'll pass along my website info to you via IM. Thanks for once again brightening this fan's day! :)
Dan
jumpandyell 01-25-2005, 11:21 PM Oops, I guess I won't be sending you a private message on the Fuselage after all... your message box is full! I can't imagine why... well, other than the fact that you are a beautiful, bright, and talented actress who is sweet enough to cater to her plethora of fans. ;)
You can contact me at jumpandyell@hotmail.com (I'll admit, the thought of you actually emailing me is mindblowing :o ). Meanwhile, I will brainstorm and see if I can come up with an elegant website design for you. Have a wonderful week!
Dan
that Nadia chick 01-27-2005, 01:54 AM Thank you, dearest! I'll contact you soonly. I actually don't know how to get into my message box on this thingie-- I'll have to ask Karri about that. And thank you for your kind words. I dig your avatar, by the way! I always wanted to be Molly Ringwald's Claire in the movie (now it's not a fat girl's name-- it's a pregnant girl's name!) although in high school I was definitely more a mixture of Anthony Michael Hall and Ally Sheedy's characters. :(
jumpandyell 01-27-2005, 09:48 PM *adds "Breakfast Club fan" to the Numerous List of Reasons I Love That Nadia Chick** You are so awesome!
And I've never made the Claire name connection, strangely enough (even though i made my avatar).* But I thought it was appropriate... after all, Sawyer is the new Bender.* In high school, I was Anthony Michael Hall's character... and I still am I think.* And Ally Sheedy's character was just so brilliantly random, what's not to like about her?* I'm craving a Cap'n Crunch and Pixie Stix sandwich as I type.
As far as accessing your mailbox... if VIPs are set up the same as regular users, there should be a grey box at the top of your screen, right below the site logo.* Inside the box it would say something like:
Hey, that nadia chick, you have 10,000,000 messages, 10,000,000 are new.
And the numbers above would link directly to your mailbox.* But it could be different for VIPs, I don't know.* :)
I've had another Fuselage user with journalism skills offer to help out on a web site for you.* If anyone else reading this has web/graphic design/writing skills and would like to contribute, let me know.* It will be a sweet site!
