I have a beta that is hanging on by thread. I can't flush him till he goes to fishy heaven, but I hate seeing him suffer. Poor thing my Georgie. Anyway, the thing that suck right now for me is not having a lot do to at work. Don't get me wrong, reading Harry Potter is great, but really I should be "working". hehe!! leesha 02-08-2005, 01:47 PM ahhh thanks guys *hugs Ophelia and Foxglove and Roni* *sends good mojo to Roni's beta* *i know who did it, it's my neighbor. *i no longer have any cats because of that son of a b****. *it's not the first time he's done something like this. *the cops won't do anything because she wasn't a licensed cat (it's a HUGE law in my town, if the animals aren't licensed, they don't even bother investigating) *we've had problems w/ this guy for years. our dog max died under disturbing circumstances 5 years ago, and we've always suspected him (just couldn't prove it). then he started complaining about our cats off and on over the years, and finally a few months ago he called the cops because one of them had kittens in his shed. he didn't even tell us they were in there, he just called the cops and they were all hauled away, except one, the one that we had to put down yesterday. oh believe me, i'm gonna get him. *brushing up on her sword fighting skills* Ophelia 02-08-2005, 01:49 PM :( If I lived and worked in the ASPCA near you, I'd kick the living crap outta that guy dizzylizzy 02-08-2005, 02:41 PM I think all cat haters should come back in their next life as cats-especially as cats targeted by a cat hater!! WhiteSapphire 02-08-2005, 07:26 PM Getting a traffic ticket when you really just didn't see the sign!! Foxglove 02-09-2005, 01:03 AM ...Hearing your neighbors argue viciously right outside your door cursing up a storm and yelling over who's hitting who and not knowing what, if anything, to do about it. They have a newborn, a toddler and a very lonley 5-year old and nether one of them seems to care what it's doing to their kids. It ticks me off - my parents divorced when I was young, but neither one ever said anything bad about the other in front of me. The dad told his toddler that if her mother would get off her f---ing a-- and get her medicine then the toddler wouldn't have an owie. Good lord, you don't say that to a little kid! Then hearing the mother almost pushing the father down the stairs and wondering if I'm going to be the one to call the cops or if their grandmother is going do it. Siiiiiiiigh....I'm not trying to eavesdrop, but niether one seems to have any volume control, and they argue so loud that it wakes me up. I don't want to put in earplugs just in case someone goes over the edge and I really do have to call the cops or an ambulance, but at the same time I don't want to listen to other people fighting. :'( Ophelia 02-09-2005, 07:49 AM oh my goodness, that is terrible and I understand why you feel so sad about it...thats a terrible thing, domestic abuse. Especially for kids to be involved. It affects everybody. Even non-family members. WhiteSapphire 02-09-2005, 07:58 AM Oh, Foxglove, that is awful. I know you don't want to get involved (though they are involving you by their actions) but I wonder if it wouldn't be the best thing to call the cops. I mean, how many people can hear them yelling? Would they know it's you that called? The sad thing is that I doubt the cops showing up will shake them out of these destructive behaviors (or at least force them to recognize what's going on), but something needs to happen to force these people to see what they're doing to their kids. :( Roni1 02-09-2005, 01:08 PM When my daughter was at her dads this last weekend the cops were called on him and his girlfriend for fighting. My daughter told me this when her grandma dropped her off. My ex didn't even mention it to me. She told me that the cops asked her questions and when I asked her who called the cops she said they just stopped by so I am sure a neighbor called. If you think you should call the cops next time, do it. It may help all of you. Good Luck hon!! WhiteSapphire 02-10-2005, 09:59 PM OK, I know this isn't really deep, but I'm annoyed So bought myself a nice new set of knives. Figuring that these knives were going to last me a while, I went expensive, name brand, etc. Well, today is the second day that I'm using the knives and I dropped a steak knife right on it's tip! Arg. Now the tip is bent. Yeah, I know I have 5 other steak knives and all, but I'm just really annoyed right now. This is why I shouldn't buy myself nice things. :-\ themarvelousmattyd 02-11-2005, 10:17 AM WS - find a friend that can heat the tip up till it's glowing, and then use a hammer to knock it back.... Homework bri_nic23 02-13-2005, 04:19 PM what sucks is when you are in the mall in your hot boots, but then your feet start getting tired because of how tall the heel is.............and then when you get in the car to go home you hope that you don't have to get out becuse they hurt so bad! WhiteSapphire 02-13-2005, 04:51 PM LOL. I hate when that happens. I was wearing these really cute shoes yesterday and I went to the museum with my boyfriend. About halfway through, I just HAD to sit down. I felt so silly! (But in all truth, all pants are made too long so that I HAVE to wear heels if I haven't hemmed the bottoms. Oh, THAT sucks! I'm too lazy to go have them hemmed and it's aprt of my personality anyway!! And what sucks is when you are wearing capris and they still come to your ankles and no one knows they are supposed to be capris!!! Well they do make petite, but those fit funny anyway! I guess being 5 foot even has its advantages and disadvantages!!!!!!!! Watership Down 02-15-2005, 04:31 PM Everything about Winter sucks. Then, having to read a really crappy book for InfTechLit, which would be a good class if your teacher didnt think you faked sick to get out of it on the first day and hates you. Then, having no phones or internet, and someone keeps messing with your solitaire setting and your paint program still doesnt work because you used it WAY too much when you had your collage-making obsession over the summer. so you go to watch mindless tv, and everything that is on sucks. not to mention the fact you need to go to a website for French class, and not only do you have internet at home, that site is blocked at school for some reason. Good luck! leesha 02-17-2005, 12:18 PM actually, it was her job interview, so i don't know if she was late or just slept in. but thank you anyways!! WhiteSapphire 02-17-2005, 12:22 PM Oh, well then maybe the interview went really well and then ran long! I once had an interview that lasted like 4 hours (and I thought it was only going to be 1 hr). I was exhausted! The guy really liked me so he wanted me to meet the boss and then the boss liked me so he wanted me to meet his boss, who was really tough. I ended up decided I didn't want the job, after all that. ;) Wait, was lunch before or after the interview? I'm always too nervous to eat beforehand. leesha 02-17-2005, 12:31 PM after. i'm w/ you WS on the too nervous to eat thing. when i was performing in plays or in choir concerts, i couldn't eat beforehand. i had a friend point this out to me once, and i was like "what, you want me to puke onstage!" the last couple of job interviews i've had we're easy, it was pretty much like "oh hey, when can you work, can you come in tomorrow?" but then again i've never had an office job or anything like that. WhiteSapphire 02-17-2005, 12:34 PM Yeah, when I was interviewing for the job that I have now (just a few months ago), that was really my first exposure interviewing and stuff. Had to buy my first real suit and everything. ;) But now I'm here, and it was definitely worth it (I say this 2.5 weeks into the job!) bri_nic23 02-17-2005, 01:05 PM well anytime you get hit in the mouth sucks---I work at a daycare with little kiddos...and every now and then...I get kicked in the face!!!!!!!! jme 02-17-2005, 01:19 PM Today everything sucks. And something else that sucks - visiting your mom, who doesn't understand why you don't want to sleep at her house even though you have very good reason to not want to spend the night. It's in the middle of the desert with nothing around, they don't have reliable cars, both her and her husband a re heavy smokers and I don't like the smell of it, and to top it all off they don't have very good running water - the toilets don't work and there's next to no watrer pressure. I love my mom, but I also love hot showers, working toilets and civilization. themarvelousmattyd 02-17-2005, 05:06 PM hey big sis jamie... sorry you're having a sucky day... if you weren't half way across the country i would invite you to come out and play raquetball with my crew tonight... I've been living it for the last week. Jeeeeezzzz, where to start..... my ex, my daughters dad, is getting divorced. I'm friends with him and his wife. They are both calling me and each has a different story. I don't know who is telling the truth and they are both pulling my daughter and I in different directions. His wife shows up at my house tonight drunk and crying wanting comfort, of course I'm not going to turn her away. She cries and tells me she just got fired from her job, has to leave her apartment at the end of the month, has nowhere to go..... what am I supposed to say!!!!! Then she asks if she can stay here for awhile. I have the smallest house but I told her of course she could stay and now I'm scared about the decision. (which happened last night) CapnHuFlungDu 02-21-2005, 02:16 PM Yeah that does suck, just like when the state dept pushes snow through the night and you hear your trash can (that somhow got knocked over into the road, wind maybe) being pushed right down the road with it. That happened to me last time it snowed here. It ended up being way down the road :lol2: . jme: you are a good person. I'm proud of you. People living with ya can be hell sometimes. ;) clairbabydaddy 02-21-2005, 02:17 PM jme---although your story sucks..........it's nice to know that I am not the only one that has a pretty good relationship with exes!* I'm the stepmom in this case, but all th same....people look at me weird for talking about his ex wife like we are friends.* Though I must say, I'm not sure I would've let her live in my house.........you are definitely bigger than me about that! So anyway.......let me think of one. Waking up in the middle of the night to hear your trash can being blown down the street and then a major hailstorm comes......and then you can't go back to sleep sucks! (which happened last night) My Dad/Stepmom and Mom/Stepdad talk a lot on the phone and hang out together. I was lucky the divorce wasn't as sloppy as some can be. I'm so proud for raising such nice, well rounded parents Varda 02-21-2005, 05:27 PM ok, im going to give out the details to that teen drama thing. I had my first big high school dance, and basically it was pretty good. Except for the drama that always come along when I go out to things like this. First, they wouldn't even let me in the dance because I 'hadn't turned in my permission slip' (I actually had lost it, but I wrote out all the information on another sheet and my dad signed it, and when i turned it in they said it would be fine. guess not) but that was ok after half an hour of trying to contact my parents and finally getting through to them. Then we went into the dance and there was some stuff about Brandon and Henry, who go to another school and wanted to ditch their dates and try and went on about how their dances are better. So I went over to my other best friend's group (yeah, my two best friends hate eachother. or did, i don't know whats going on there) and there really was no couple dancing going on there for the faster songs (and by that i mean grinding, which isnt really fun when you're the 7th wheel). My friend Grace's date made a crack about her liking older guys, so she jokingly went to Charlie (my friend Catherine's boyfriend who is a junior) put her arm around him and agreed. And so her date said "Yea, older guys or drug addicts" (her ex is in the hospital for an OD, and she's really upset about it) it took a long time for everyone to convince her to stay and just ignore him, but we got her to have a good time. There was a comment made when I was with my other best friends group about how the others were still dancing with girls (oh come on, we were actually having fun and moving instead of standing around... not to mention the fact that guys were involved, too). Oh well, i had fun dancing with my balloon during the slow songs (my rendition to it of the 'Dont Wanna Close My Eyes' song was dead on beautiful). Only wish they would have allowed me to do the worm... (though i aint going dress shopping again, so this thing better make it for the next four years) theG 02-21-2005, 05:30 PM I'm really glad that I have nothing in common with my peers sometimes. The things they have to deal with *shakes head*. I'm sorry, Varda. That really sucks. Varda 02-21-2005, 05:37 PM its ok. I'm just worried about Grace, I'm not sure if his use of drugs is related to their break-up or not. (I have never met him, so I really dont know) theG 02-21-2005, 05:38 PM I hope everything turns out okay. It's a turvy-topsy world... WhiteSapphire 02-21-2005, 05:41 PM Did you know that I just typed up a reply to this and it just disappeared? No warnings or anything. Weird. Varda 02-21-2005, 05:44 PM Very strange.... you didnt mention anything threatening the government, did you? WhiteSapphire 02-21-2005, 05:44 PM No . . . just hs drama. Hmm . . . CapnHuFlungDu 02-21-2005, 08:43 PM I hope it wasn't aliens............ :alien: Varda 02-21-2005, 09:38 PM *cues the X-files music* WhiteSapphire 02-21-2005, 09:39 PM ooo . . . and there's a special about aliens on right now. (I'm too lazy to find a new channel.) correction: it's about alien abductions Varda 02-21-2005, 09:46 PM hmm... abductions... interesting... that would be kinda sucky, to be abducted WhiteSapphire 02-21-2005, 09:48 PM Well, at least they seem to always return the people. Varda 02-21-2005, 09:50 PM Actually, tons of people disappear into thin air... maybe they just return the ones they dont like WhiteSapphire 02-21-2005, 09:53 PM Or the ones that don't seem ripe yet. theG 02-21-2005, 09:55 PM Alien abductions are more common than you think...especially the kinds with David Bowie and parakeets... WhiteSapphire 02-21-2005, 09:55 PM Why isn't David Bowie in this TV special? That would have added an extra dimension, for sure. theG 02-21-2005, 10:00 PM He's usually invisible when the abductions occur. Abductions are quite fun events, actually. You get to dress up, there's free food...wonderful. WhiteSapphire 02-21-2005, 10:03 PM Then I believe the History Channel must have gotten it all wrong. Sloppy reporting, I'm sure. Tomokato 02-21-2005, 10:05 PM and you get probed for free theG 02-21-2005, 10:06 PM Sloppy reporting sucks. *Fact check, people! Varda 02-21-2005, 10:06 PM real sloppy. hmm.... i wouldn't mind some of that free food... WhiteSapphire 02-21-2005, 10:12 PM Do they have cold cut platters? I'm kinda craving cold cuts. theG 02-21-2005, 10:15 PM Yeah, they basically have everything. Aliens also make a mean PB&J sandwich. I haven't been to an abduction in almost a year, though. I wonder what's up... Varda 02-21-2005, 10:28 PM o! can you tell me next time you go to one? theG 02-21-2005, 10:30 PM Sure. Want to come? It's a pretty laid back setting and everyone is pretty nice. Varda 02-21-2005, 10:41 PM Yes, I'd love to come. just give me some warning so I can get my antenae head-band theG 02-21-2005, 10:43 PM They give those away for free at the door, but I'll give you some warning anyway. There's usually some sort of theme. Varda 02-21-2005, 10:47 PM Oh, like are we supposed to come as flying saucers? theG 02-21-2005, 10:48 PM We did that last June. I don't think we'll be doing it again. I've heard rumors about a cow type theme, but they haven't been confirmed. Varda 02-21-2005, 10:52 PM oooo.... could i go with a cheee hat on? theG 02-21-2005, 10:53 PM Probably. They're quite fond of cheese hats. Varda 02-21-2005, 10:54 PM they dont try and eat them, do they? theG 02-21-2005, 10:56 PM No, they actually invented cheese hats. Ophelia 02-21-2005, 10:57 PM I KNEW IT! Cheese hats are the aliens making! theG 02-21-2005, 11:00 PM They also invented the spork, which I'm quite angry about because all of the friends I have who have been abducted are now obsessed with sporks. Ophelia 02-21-2005, 11:01 PM Sporks....oooooo..... :o Varda 02-21-2005, 11:02 PM thats not a spork, this is a spork! *holds up a knife* Ophelia 02-21-2005, 11:07 PM oooo.....knife..... Tomokato 02-21-2005, 11:10 PM Spoon!!! Varda 02-21-2005, 11:11 PM ITS A SPORK, I TELL YOU! SPORK! theG 02-21-2005, 11:12 PM Not knowing the difference between a spork, knife, and a spoon sucks. Ophelia 02-21-2005, 11:13 PM *scratches head* So a spork, a spoon and a fork are different? Varda 02-21-2005, 11:16 PM yea... see, they had 3 utensils, and they thought up of the names spoon and fork. they couldnt think of a third o they named is a spork! WhiteSapphire 02-22-2005, 08:51 AM Jus thought I'd throw this in here . . . One of the guys that I work with has a cowboy cheese hat. It's quite interesting. Varda 02-22-2005, 12:04 PM intriguing.... *steals Niv's cowboy hat and starts covering it with cheese* bri_nic23 02-22-2005, 12:31 PM Funny you say that V.........didn't we have that same discussion before somewhere else? Feels like deja vu to me! Oh--and me neck is still in pain so that still sucks WhiteSapphire 02-22-2005, 12:32 PM We did have this conversation already. V's running out of material. Varda 02-22-2005, 12:37 PM Oh, I probably ran out long ago. It's the memory. I'm like Dory the Fish... Jesyca calls out friend Matt Dory... maybe because of his avie.... he's cool... bri_nic23 02-22-2005, 12:45 PM That's cool! I feel like Dory too sometimes Varda 02-22-2005, 12:48 PM that is the greatest excuse for forgetting homework: i have short term memory loss CapnHuFlungDu 02-22-2005, 01:17 PM Me too! I have it really bad and I use my planner for everything and so I panick when I lose it and people are like what is your problem? They just don't understand.... ;) bri_nic23 02-22-2005, 01:32 PM Yeah! Well I am such a multi tasker!!! I can't just sit down and do just one thing!!! My mind runs in a million directions so things get done but I have to do about 10 other things in between! It works well in my job, though! Roni1 02-22-2005, 02:15 PM Okay the thing that irratates me today is stupid people at work that make my life more diffifult. GGRR!! >:( bri_nic23 02-22-2005, 02:38 PM Yeah that always sucks Roni1 02-22-2005, 02:39 PM Especially after a three day weekend and my Monday is really today. hehe!! I will get over it thought......eventually. :lol2: bri_nic23 02-22-2005, 02:40 PM You had a three day weekend?!! That sucks for me! But someone's gotta watch everyone's kids! Roni1 02-22-2005, 02:43 PM lol!! I work for a bank so I get all the Federal Holiday's off. hehe!! And one state holiday. hehe!! But you are right, someone has to watch the kiddies, and who better to do that than you my dear!! bri_nic23 02-22-2005, 02:45 PM Yeah and speaking of that...I am about over with my lovely 3 hour break so I am saying good bye! Roni1 02-22-2005, 02:49 PM Bye, Bri!! Have a good day love!!:o) theG 02-22-2005, 04:57 PM It sucks when you run out of Spaghettios and you've had a bad day and all you want are Spaghettios. BurningStar4 02-22-2005, 05:13 PM It sucks that I have to wait 6 more hours for Law & Order SVU :'( theG 02-22-2005, 05:28 PM It sucks having to wait three hours and 32 minutes for Gilmore Girls. peanutbutter101 02-22-2005, 05:35 PM It sucks to be a gamer. :'( :'( :'( >:( :'( :'( :'( BurningStar4 02-22-2005, 05:42 PM Awwww peanut It sucks to be a peanut ;) It sucks that I must work out later lol peanutbutter101 02-22-2005, 05:45 PM It sucks that I have an ugly nose, crooked glasses and front tooth (stupid assistant softball coach who threw a softball at my face), and long frizzy hair. Humph. >:( It sucks that my assistant coach couldn't aim better. WhiteSapphire 02-22-2005, 05:47 PM *raises hand* One of my front teeth is fake! It isn't so bad, except I can never use any sort of whitening stuff, because the fake tooth wouldn't whiten and then it would just look REALLY bad. No one can tell most of the time though, except when there is a blacklight around. BurningStar4 02-22-2005, 05:50 PM Peanut-I was hit in the face with a softball, luckily it didn't do any damage! Just a bloody nose and a big bruise for awhile peanutbutter101 02-22-2005, 05:59 PM My coach managed to hit me in the face so that one of my front teeth slightly overlaps my other front tooth. You couldn't really tell unless I was smiling in a close up picture. But it still bothers me. Apart from a smidge of crowding, Ihad nice teeth. :angrysanta: Half of my Mom's tooth is fake. My cousin and my sister were fighting over a keyboard and they managed to hit my Mom in the mouth. Slick little buggers they are. Ophelia 02-22-2005, 06:01 PM YOUR COACH HIT YOU??!?! Varda 02-22-2005, 06:03 PM thats abusive! file a report! get 'em sacked! or be nice and forgive and stuff... theG 02-22-2005, 06:04 PM or be nice and forgive and stuff... Please, who does that anymore? peanutbutter101 02-22-2005, 06:05 PM I'm sure he didn't mean to. It was an accident. Really. He was nice to us. Except his daughter. Poor dear tried her best but her stupid parents, who were the coaches, kept putting her down. I was about ready to punch her Dad (the guy who threw the ball that made my front tooth crooked)before the season was over. BurningStar4 02-22-2005, 06:06 PM Well you shoulda socked him in the mouth with a softball and called it even  theG 02-22-2005, 06:07 PM I'm so glad sports were frowned upon in my household. *It would suck to be made to do stuff. Varda 02-22-2005, 06:08 PM well, i was forgiven when i took one of my friend's fries. but that wasnt messing with someone's tooth oh, having your dad as the coach is the worst! you have to go early to games and practice and stuff... theG 02-22-2005, 06:11 PM I think I may have to give my mother a hug when she comes home. Varda 02-22-2005, 06:14 PM hehehe.... we could share all of our parents/horror stories... *ponders* naw, but i should have my cousin come in here. she spent a weekend with us a couple of weeks ago and has plenty of stories (i guess discussions about Edgar Allen Poe at breakfast isnt normal...) Foxglove 02-23-2005, 01:41 AM jme - (((HUGS))) I hope you all get through it okay. I can't even imagine how awful the whole thing is. There's no way my mom and stepmom could ever be in the same room together for five minutes much less having to live together. I hope the stepmom and the dad can keep thier differences away from your daughter. She really doesn't need that burden on top of everything else. I was so lucky that my mom and dad never talked bad about each other around me. Peanutbutter101 - I feel for ya! I was never athletic, but I really despise sports because in school I was always hit by the sports balls...basketballs, softballs, baseballs, a tennis ball (that one almost rammed my glasses into my eyes. Ouch!) That sucks about the coach treating his daughter that way. Do parents just not understand what that sort of thing does to their kid? There's just no excuse for that - I hope someone talks to the guy because he can really mess his kid up mentally if he doesn't take a step back. >:( Jesyca 02-23-2005, 06:42 PM E.A. Poe is awesome....... clairbabydaddy 02-23-2005, 06:45 PM It sucks when your listeneing to the radio and one of the guys on the morning show decides to blurt out the meaning of NUMBERS and part of Hurley's story. I've posted this a few times, but it's really helping keep the voices quiet ;) peanutbutter101 02-23-2005, 06:46 PM I'm surprised the girl isn't totally scarred. She seems to cope with it. And it wasn't even a big game. It was PEE-WEE SOFTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! I'd hate to see what goes on in that household when she does something serious. theG 02-23-2005, 06:47 PM This terrible funk I'm in (that I talk about in all of my posts) today sucks :unhappy: clairbabydaddy 02-23-2005, 06:51 PM I'm dying to split, 10 minutes before I get out of here! bri_nic23 02-23-2005, 08:48 PM It sucks when you are only cold on your hands and you have to put on gloves to stay warm and then typing is difficult! jme 02-23-2005, 08:52 PM It sucks that it's time for me to go now. Be back soon! bri_nic23 02-23-2005, 08:55 PM Yeah it sucks--but it's great we will get to watch lost!!! themarvelousmattyd 02-25-2005, 11:42 AM It sucks when it's the day after a snow storm and the roads are fine, but people STILL drive like idiots, like there is an inch of ice on the road, and creating miles of traffic jams that I have to try to wade through only to get to work late and then... ah nevermind... I don't need to spew suckieness forever... so I'm gonna turn off the flow now... Varda 02-25-2005, 12:30 PM when you send something to the wrong printer so probably somewhere in the school has lots o' copies of your religion essay... kinda sucky CapnHuFlungDu 02-25-2005, 12:40 PM It really sucks to miss an episode of lost. :( bri_nic23 02-25-2005, 01:13 PM Did you?????? That's so sad! theG 02-25-2005, 04:50 PM It sucks when you have a belly ache, but you're hungry, but you know that if you eat something that your belly ache will get worse... :'( clairbabydaddy 02-25-2005, 04:52 PM Do a shot to numb that belly up :P clairbabydaddy 02-25-2005, 04:53 PM Unless your under 21........of course :-\ Varda 02-25-2005, 05:32 PM wait, would a pepsi shot work? clairbabydaddy 02-25-2005, 05:38 PM actually Ginger Ale is supposed to be good and settling for an upset stomach Varda 02-25-2005, 05:52 PM yup..... Twix ice cream wouldnt, would it? clairbabydaddy 02-25-2005, 05:57 PM I'd give it a try. Maybe that will bring a smile to your face and then your mind will fool your stomach into thinking you're feeling good! Mind over matter! Wait, I got it. Get an empty bottle of Pepto Bismol, stick your finger in it and pull a "Charlie" Varda 02-25-2005, 06:18 PM YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ill remember that next time my stomach is mad at me :D Ophelia 02-25-2005, 06:20 PM Having to call off work and having your boss (((who can FIRE YOU))) get mad at you but u really can't help it cause your feelin like ick and LOL, I ramble Varda 02-25-2005, 06:23 PM bosses make me feel like ick.... same with teachers Ophelia 02-25-2005, 06:25 PM ur 17, right? or is that Jesyca? Why do I always get u 2 mixed up? DON'T AnSWer that! Do you have a job?? Varda 02-25-2005, 06:30 PM im the 14 one. Jes is the old geezer. um, does reffing kids football (or soccer for you crazy Americans) count as a job? if so, yes. the parents and coaches try to be my boss (insane parents not fun AT all) if not, im getting a workers permit so i can work as an orc this summer clairbabydaddy 02-25-2005, 06:33 PM Having to call off work and having your boss (((who can FIRE YOU))) get mad at you but u really can't help it cause your feelin like ick and LOL, I ramble Go in and puke on the boss' desk. That'll learn'em BTW, who was your last Avatar piture of? Are you the "beautiful dork" in the new Avatar? Ophelia 02-25-2005, 06:36 PM It was Ashlee Simpson...her face looked like me, thats why I had that up...but now I am a gorgeous dork...tree hee and, OOO, with my new compy I can see the shark tattoos on your manchest! clairbabydaddy 02-25-2005, 06:49 PM I thought that was her. Well your "beautiful dork" picture caught my eye.* ;)* Not exactly my best picture, but it went with the caption. WhiteSapphire 02-25-2005, 09:28 PM V's story about sending her essay to the wrong printer reminded me of something I almost did yesterday . . . I was on the Fuselage at work, and I went to preview before I submitted, and I hit ctrl-P instead of alt-P. I almost sent it to the printer! Luckily I didn't, but that would have been pretty amusing. LOL WhiteSapphire 02-25-2005, 09:37 PM OMG, something just hit me! I just found out that I'm going to be away on a business trip next week. Yay. I was so excited, UNTIL something just hit me. *I don't think I'm going to get to watch Lost.* I don't even own a VCR or DVR. I thought I wouldn't be going away for another week. I'm so unprepared! OK, so, yeah, I can just get someone else to tape it for me and then watch it when I get back. But I'll have to avid the Fuselage for a few days if I do that! This is really painful. Let's just hope I'm not working at 8pm next Wednesday night! (Or at a silly group dinner!) Why does it have to be Hurley's episode! *sigh* Varda 02-25-2005, 09:47 PM Aw Weseh, its ok, I can tape it for your. Or throw things at people if they mess up your tv watching schedule.... either or, really Ophelia 02-25-2005, 10:27 PM hugislghuiolsughruiogjni *excuse me I sneezed* CapnHuFlungDu 02-25-2005, 10:36 PM Bless you. oh...whats this all over my keyboard?! It also sucks when you miss a show because of another show. I missed Shaman King today! Sheesh. But I was watching scary places on the travel channel and it was pretty interesting. I mean interseting. :P Superduper 02-26-2005, 01:49 PM Poor Capn CapnHuFlungDu 02-26-2005, 01:51 PM Yeah. Oh, Ophelia, you're almost in Business Class . . . Ophelia 02-27-2005, 04:02 PM I know! I am so excited~I've been posting like a mad woman, just hoping to get alittle closer. Course, it would be much easier if I had people to post TO. That is partly why it sucks no one is really on! :-[ WhiteSapphire 02-27-2005, 04:03 PM I'm here! Of course, I haven't worked at all this weekend yet and I do have work to do . . . Oh, well. I'm sure it'll get done. ;) Ophelia 02-27-2005, 04:18 PM I probably should've used my time off to clean my room. I can barely see my carpet and I am not sure that is such a bad thing since it was disgusting anyways. What sucks is that last night I called in for someone to tell me if I work today and they told me I did. So I come in to work and find out that I don't work til TOMMOROW! And when I mentioned it in front of the manager that told me I worked today, she was like, "Oh. Oh well." Thing is, I had to walk home, cause I don't drive and its cold! I got home and my ears hurt so badly!! But hey, the upside is, I am home and not working! Mallek 02-27-2005, 04:27 PM straws suck big time :lol2: and wasps I hate wasps - if anything they prove that god exists and that he is a sadist :lol2: theG 02-27-2005, 05:43 PM Being tired sucks. Varda 02-27-2005, 05:49 PM terribly sorry Sillio, some CRAZY stuff has happened this weekend, and the good thing about hotel rooms is that my mom isnt driven mad by the click-clicking of the computer. but then you have the bad tv and the whole being awoken early by the freaking fire alarm, finding you are totally alone in the room, throwing on the first shoes you find in the dark (which turned out to be my dad's dress shoes... they went really nice with my highlighter yellow Footloose shirt) and going down the 5 flight of stairs with the rest of the people pouring out of the rooms.... man, that was freaking AWESOME! and good hot chocolate too... and, the moment many have been waiting for: I HAVE FINALLY GOTTEN NEW JEANS! the months of complaining are over, finally I sucked it up and went shopping.
