It sucks when your sister and her boyfriend arrive home in the middle of LOST and they're very loud...so you have to go outside, in the snow and cold and darkness, and tell them to shut up and go upstairs.

Varda

When you live across from the elevator and loud drunk people wake you up at 5 am.

They stayed there for a while too. I almost got out of bed to go yell at them.

Don't get mad - get even - put a cardboard cut out of a brickwall behind the entrance door and they will be so drunk they won't be able to tell the difference :lol2:

The shower in my apt sucks. In the morning, when everyone in the building is showering, it seems to only want to put out freezing cold or scalding hot water. I just go back and forth and try to catch it in the middle.

judoktty
02-27-2005, 07:31 PM

My sucky weekend ~ the short version:

Moved my ex's soon to be ex wife into my spare bedroom.
Can you say awkward living situation? Oh boy!!

bri_nic23
02-28-2005, 02:08 PM
Still not any better huh?

02-28-2005, 02:11 PM
Oh my Jme. That is such a crazy situation!

Ophelia
02-28-2005, 02:13 PM
:o JME, hun, WHY DID YOU LET HER IN!?

jme
02-28-2005, 02:15 PM
Thanks guys!

It's a temporary situation. *I have to remind myself of that. *I remember what it's like to be alone and scared and not sure where you are going. *I have to help her. *Her family all lives in Rock Springs Wyoming, so she doesn't have many people here to help her out. *It's cool, she can stay free and save some money to get herself into an apartment. *It's kind of awkward but she had no where to go. *

Ophelia
02-28-2005, 02:16 PM
that would be sooo weird....but at least you have something in common! *snerk*

Roni1
02-28-2005, 02:18 PM
I was just thinking the same thing Ophelia. I would let one of my ex's, ex's stay with. Think of all the fun you can have bashing him. hehe!! oh I mean......I said that out loud din't I? :o Well if the shoe fits. hehe!! You are awesome jme to let her stay with you for a while. "Good on ya Mate". I love Bruce!!

Ophelia
02-28-2005, 02:21 PM
And remember- ex's ex's are friends, not food er....u know what I mean!

Roni1
02-28-2005, 02:23 PM
"Go easy on him. He's lost his son Fabio." hehe!! Oh a phone call for me. hehe!!

jme
02-28-2005, 02:24 PM
Well the ex bashing won't be happening. *I have nothing bad to say about him. *Her and I laid ground rules regarding that. *My daughter is in the house, so she is not to speak badly about him to us or on the phone where we can hear. *

She has to take the cell phone outside if she is going to have any conversations that regarding him. *

Temporary... this is temporary!!! **taking very deep breaths*

Ophelia
02-28-2005, 02:27 PM
Things to help make the days pass quickly:
Go shopping together but not together, get it?
Rent movies, that way you don't have to talk
Get her hooked on Dominic Monaghan and Lost *thats a given!*

Roni1
02-28-2005, 02:31 PM
I agree about bashing him in front of your daughter. I have a child with my ex as well, and I know what that is like. I have to remind my parents sometimes. hehe!! But really, good luck and hopefully she will move out soon.

jme
02-28-2005, 02:33 PM
Thanks for the tips Ophelia.

I plan to spend a bit of time away from the house to give us all some space. *
I'll be gone all next weekend and then again March 24-28 so that will make things easier with me being away.

The kid is going to stay with her grandparents this weekend, so there will be lots of moving about at my household.

She may be out by the end of March and that will be good!!

bri_nic23
02-28-2005, 02:34 PM
Yeah--movies are good, lets just hope she doesn't want to analyze them and try to use them as real life experiences!

Roni1
02-28-2005, 02:36 PM
hehe!! Bri that is a good point. lol!!

Well jme and you always have all of us to lean on through this situation. *hugs*

Ophelia
02-28-2005, 02:36 PM

jme

I am so glad that I have all of you Fuselage friends to help me and listen and be supportive!

You are all so awesome. :malelovies:

I've made it very clear to her that I am in no way qualified to be her therapist, so she can't talk to me about anything deep! LOL

Ophelia
02-28-2005, 02:41 PM

I hate it when other people make you miss your appointments!! That sucks bri.

I also hate when you have to wait in the waiting room for an hour before you get to go to your appointment.

Roni1

peanutbutter101
02-28-2005, 09:56 PM
Well, we've had 4 snow days (okay, one was a school oil leaking day but they still called it a snow day :lol2:) so now we're not getting out until June 23.

And I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one white and pasty. ;)

WhiteSapphire
02-28-2005, 09:57 PM
I'm always white and pasty. I just don't tan (I don't usually burn either). It's really weird.

judoktty
02-28-2005, 09:57 PM
I miss snow days, i'm in collage and they never close down and that sucks

theG
02-28-2005, 09:59 PM
June 23rd? *That sucks. *So far, we still have an early June date...can remember the exact date. *We only have two spring break days, though.

I'm not pasty--my grandma calls my complexion peaches 'n' creme. I don't know why. I'm more pink and white than peach and white.

*clutches Pepto Bismol to her chest in hopes that she will soon feel better*

WhiteSapphire
02-28-2005, 10:00 PM
Snow days? I'm allowed to work from home if I want, but I still have to work.

Hiram
03-01-2005, 04:22 AM
Hope you feel better theG soon!

Then we can get you and WS to send your photos into the collage thread!

Or if you treasure your anonymity you can do like I did for a long time.
I was Santa for a couple of months! You can be in costume too if you
wish to remain unidentifiable. Of course that kinda defeats the purpose.

Hiram
03-01-2005, 04:27 AM
White and pasty is good. I like white and pasty especially when it comes with long red curly locks attached to the head!
or something!

WhiteSapphire
03-01-2005, 07:26 AM
Gee, Hiram, why are you so curious as to what we look like?

SNOW!

theG
03-01-2005, 09:04 AM
Don't you have to be 18 to be on the Fuselage Collage? Red hair, but it's straight as a pin, much to my dismay.

Snow doesn't suck. Having to shovel all this snow sucks.

*e-hugs* for everyone who hoped I felt better!

WhiteSapphire
03-01-2005, 09:37 AM
I love red hair. My boyfriend has read hair. I hope my kids have read hair. I think it's so cute.

Snow doesn't suck. I was just expressing my excitement. Snow only sucks when it makes you get stuck at the airport.

theG
03-01-2005, 09:42 AM
I didn't think you thought that snow sucked.

Red hair is cute. It only sucks when you look like a leperchaun in baby pictures.

Varda
03-01-2005, 11:38 AM

Roni1
03-01-2005, 11:57 AM

theG
03-01-2005, 12:42 PM

Hope you get feeling better soon though.

theG
03-01-2005, 02:03 PM

WhiteSapphire
03-01-2005, 02:39 PM
I'd rather be sleeping.

It sucks when you wake up to a firestorm of angry emails. At least they acknowledge it wasn't my fault.

reminds me of when i was 7. *when i was in first grade, i had taken this spelling test, and i thought i did pretty good on it. *the weather was pretty bad, so we had to stay inside during recess. *during recess, i was sitting at my desk, and i saw the teacher checking the grades. *all of a sudden, she gets this really p.o'd look on her face, rips up the test she was grading, throws it in the trash. *she grabs another piece of paper, walks over to my desk and slams the paper on my desk and starts yelling at me!! *she didn't like the way i had written my answers on the test, something about the answers weren't in a straight line or something. *i was only 7!! *what she expect, perfection?
