bri_nic- hmm.. i'll be in oklahoma sometime in july, but that might be too late to win tickets ;)

ophelia- there's not much for small odd jobs in my town, but at the moment, i'm taking care of my dad's house while he's away on the job(he said he was gonna pay me, if he doesn't.... oh i'll be mad), and that includes feeding his 150 lb. rottweiler/black lab mix who thinks she's still a puppy (yesterday, she gave me a hug, and when i say she gave me a hug, she was on her hind legs and her front paws were around my neck.. and i'm 5'5"!).. but my new job starts the 28th, so at least i have that coming.. knowing my luck though, by the time i get my first paycheck, the concert will be sold out

Yesterday was the suckiest day ever for me at work! I had to work in a differnt room all week because someone had a family emergency and was gone, and poor little me was volunteered to do the deed!

The kids in that class are the rudest, most bratty kids I have ever met! I swear, if my kids ever tell me or anyone else they hate me (or them), I will personally wear them out so bad that they will NEVER even THINK about saying that again! Same goes for kicking or punching an adult! And the things they say---they would only say it if they heard it, so it makes me sad that parents don't care that their kids are hearing them cuss and threaten each other! I swear those kids' parents need some major counseling for control over their kids!

I took my break(luckily I got one) and went to tan, and cried the whole time I was in the tanning bed. I was so stressed out and had reached my breaking point. They are lucky that I did get a break or I would've walked out for one anyway! I told my boss, I can't be in that room for that long!

I'm glad to be in my room with my babies who still have respect and complete adoration for us adults....and need the hugs and kisses and are none too shy about giving them out as well!

I have the hiccups.* That sucks.

We played Chem BINGO today (because my teacher doesn't know how to teach).* The bell was about to ring and we didn't get any homework, so a girl in my class asks "Do we have any homework?"

My jaw dropped.* Our teacher is completely clueless.* She wouldn't have given us any homework if the little twit hadn't brought it up.* Now, I have to do an entire page of notes in addition to four pages of questions on Romeo and Juliet.* This sucks.* My weekend is going to suck.

IM NEVER DOING WORK AGAIN! never ever ever! and if im sent to the dean, i can blackmail him into giving me A's and B's! YAY! YAY! YAY!

See, im happy now, but its gonna suck when I'm grounded for the first time. But today I was at Border's and this old guy approached me and said he noticed my school logo. I guess he used to be the strictest teacher in Chicago, and that he subbed at my school after he retired. And he gave me some great dirt on the dean of upperclassmen that I'm going to use.... this is awesome...

The movie was good. And then he sort of invited himself over my place. That was a little weird. So he came over, and then I just kept talking about how awesome my current boy is. And then we watched Napoleon Dynamite. To be perfectly honest, he just seemed kinda lonely. I'd feel worse about it though it he didn't still get on my nerves. Oh, and if I weren't still mad at him for the way that he broke up with me--over the phone.

it sux when you can do something really well, and when you have to perform it, or show someone, you mess up or completely forget what to do or something like that. >:( that has happened to me with my guitar performances. i can play the piece great, then i get all nervous when i have to preform, and mess up like 10 different places. if you play an instrument, you know how that feels.

I can sympathize with you.* I play piano, sax and guitar, I also sing and have done numerous musicals and plays through the years...I also am a dancer, so I've had plenty of experience within the performing arts.* It is definitely nervous to show everyone your abilities as a performer, but my nerves are a little different then yours.* I usually get extremely nervous right before I perform but the second I start to perform, I feel free, and I don't feel nervous anymore.* I guess I would suggest just blocking the audience from your mind, and pretend you are alone by yourself in your room....it helps me anyway.

Having to wait over 3 hours for L&O SVU sucks!

How are you WS? When is the bf back? Soon?

Are you still enjoying your job?

WhiteSapphire
03-18-2005, 11:34 AM
So many questions. . . ;)

The bf comes back in the middle of next week. I simply cannot wait. I am going out of my mind.

My job, well, yes and no. At this very instant, NO. But that's because I'm working with this one person who is completely irresponsible and just blamed me for a mistake that she made. I didn't want to help her anyway because she doesn't do her work and then she always gets people to help her. I didn't want to say no to the VP who asked me to help her though. She hasn't even admitted her mistake and I've decided to ignore that stuff and work on some other things instead. Overall, I still do like the job and especially the people (except for her). The problem is that I work efficiently, and I want more things to do (if I have to be here, I'd rather be busy) so, of course, she can't deal with her workload, so I'm assigned to work with her. Soon, I should have my own stuff so that problem should solve itself.

OK, yeah, that was rambling. As you can tell, I'm still pretty annoyed about it.

jme
03-18-2005, 11:39 AM
Woo Hoo, your bf is almost home! I'm excited for you! :malelovies:

Ewww.... I have a girl in my office that sounds a lot like that one. For some reason the boss can't see that she is such a screw-up. I'm always fixing her stuff and I can't understand why he doesn't get it. Oh well, what do ya do. ::)

I've been at my job for 13 years now. I look back and sometimes it seems like 3 and sometimes it seems like 30! :lol2:

TGIF!

WhiteSapphire
03-18-2005, 11:53 AM
Yes, TGIF. The weekends always go so quickly, which, in this case, is not a bad thing, because I simply cannot wait for him to come back. Especailly when I start getting all wound up like I am now, I know he is one of the few people that can really calm me down.

OK, yeah, I'm really sad and mushy, but I just can't help it! I went through a lot of "Mr. Wrongs" before finding this one and I'm very happy with what I have. ;)

jme
03-18-2005, 12:01 PM

I'm happy for you that you found a Mr. Right.

Isnt it funny that your attitude changes?

Let me tell you what sucks.....I tried to drink something Irish for yesterday--and ended up with White Russians....my dog, who usually turns up her nose at any kind of alcohol, got into my white russian that I had put on the floor. When I got back into the room, she had lapped up more than half of my glass!!!! This is 100 proof Vodka, mind you. I got onto her and forgot about it. Until she fell out of the bed and couldn't get up, puked and then chased herself in cirlces for an hour! My hubby was freaking out thinking somethin was really wrong with her and then I remembered! AHA! She must be drunk! We lauged forever about it and felt sorry for her. She was probably wondering why the room was spinning! ......Bet she will stay away from that from now on!

WhiteSapphire
03-18-2005, 02:30 PM

That sounds just like me! I love my house to be all put together and smelling nice. Sometimes it is REALLY hard since I have a kid and all her friends like to hang at our house. I prefere them at my house though so I'm getting used to it. Having a bunch of kids over and making noise and messes used to cause me great anxiety but not so much anymore.

She will be gone this weekend with her Dad, so I get to clean and it will stay clean for the whole weekend and that makes me so happy.

WhiteSapphire
03-18-2005, 06:21 PM
Hey, jme, if you don't mind, what ever happened to the ex's ex?

I just thought of you since you mentioned that the house would be empty

jme
03-18-2005, 06:25 PM
She moved out while I was in Vegas. She moved back in with my ex. They are giving it another go. The ex gave me a big fat chunk of money for letting her stay with me so that was cool! ;D

They are moving to Sandusky, Ohio in a few weeks. My ex accepted a job there and she is going with him.

My kid is kinda sad that her Dad is moving, but he will be the electrician as some big water park and so she gets to fly out there and that makes her happy.

Part of my cleaning is getting my spare room put back together the way I like it! I am so looking forward to an empty house!

She and I are going to fly out in June when she gets out of school and check it out.

It's funny, because this move was a big reason for their split. She didn't want to leave and he really wanted to take this job.
