In the episode "Homecoming" when Claire is returned, did anyone else pay attention to the exchange between Sun and Jin? He asked her if Claire was ok then asked how was the baby. She said, "I'm sure the baby is fine" They gave each other a look that made me wonder if they hadn't lost a baby in the past, or even if she might be in early pregnancy at time of the plane crash.

Speculation: Sun in Exodus

Sun had a tray of food and told Jin she was hungry and that also set off a lot of theories that Sun is pregnant. I remember the look she gave Jin in Homecoming and I think she is pregnant .
I wonder if she knew she was pregnant , when she was planning to leave him.

I was wondering if maybe she had just found out and that was the real reason she didn't leave.

Wow, this is good speculation. I've been thinking about this, because of how she's been acting. Happy one minute, crying the next. Esspically over her wedding ring... which i found odd.

I find the pregnancy theory interesting. Parenthood is a complex adventure, I think made even more adventurous on this island. This show has a real dearth of parents, in comparison to the general population. At least there seem to be:

children among the tail-section of the plane. You'd think there would be families on any given international flight.

I agree. While it would be cute for Sun to have a baby, it seems that is Claire's role right now.

Or...she terminated the pregnancy when she decided to leave Jin and felt a great deal of guilt over not telling him and it all hit her at the moment she was suppossed to leave him and that is why she stayed with him..

That would be so sad if she terminated a pregnancy. Let's hope that hasnt happened!

abortion is such a touchy topic, i really doubt they would get that in their. then the audence would get offended, and i do agre that 1 baby on the island is enough, thats Claire i love Claire, shes my favorite, but i think 2 Claires are 2 too many. Atleast for lost, i doubt they want 2 mommies out of main charcters on the island.and that would sorta make lost more based on relationships other than the other aspects of the show, i love lost, but if its going to turn into these other shows that are realationship based im not watching it anymore. i bet thats why they wouldn't do that, i think suns character isn't ment for that, i think they can expand on her character in other ways, lost isn't a show that copies characters.

Perhaps there had been conversations about wanting children and that Jin wanted to start their family when Sun was planning on leaving or something like that.

After seeing the reunion I started to wonder if perhaps they would be the first couple to get pregnant while on the island...

I noticed that look and I immediately thought there'sn gotta be something behind this look. Maybe they tried to have a child but couldn't have one or that Sun was pregnant and lost the baby. Hopefully we'll learn more about it in future Sun/Jin FBs.
I don't think Sun is pregnant now or will be pregnant any time soon, assuming the show follows the pace 1 season = about 1 month on the island. Who really wants to expand the "Sun is pregnant"- story arc over the next 9 seasons?

Sun would need to start showing about mid-season for it to be buyable. It would be so adorable if she is with child. :)
