I like Kate but her character seems the least interesting to me of the people on the island. Hopefully her history part 2 is more engaging than the first one.

So few females in the main cast that Kate needs to be important for the show to work (and because she has been made into a protagonist). With Claire potentially gone for a few episodes and Sun being limited to the interactions she can have with the other characters, that only leaves Kate and Shannon. Boone and Shannon's episode is next week and is anticipated to be a top episode of the season, so Kate might slide even further down the list of interesting characters ... (aside from people wondering who Kate's island lover is going to be)

I personally am most looking forward to Hurleys... but I know there's been so much speculation about Shannon and Boone, and no one really has any idea what they're really about. Also, from promo pics it looks very intrestring and also looks like it will anwser at least a few questions. So I guess a lot of people are looking forward to it :)

Many have called Locke's history the best episode of the season. Supposedly Boone & Shannon and Sawyer 2 upcoming episodes are of that level of shocking quality.

We heard that episodes 1-13 make a complete story arc so that they could release Lost to DVD if the whole thing didn't get picked up, so there has been speculation that the Boone episode (13) answers a lot of questions!

I liked Kate's background being a secret instead of having them know about it. I thought the air of mystery helped spice up things 8) So I am not looking forward to them finding out about her past unless it raises more questions than it answers.

Gosh, yes. She had all these weird "silences" throughout the show. It was really weird, like she couldn't decide whether to flashback or not.

Hey I like Kate! She is almost as cute as Claire ;D
I think they need someone like Kate in the group and I prefer her character to Jack and would do so even if she were not a hottie.
Jack is the one so far who annoys me most often but then I have yet to see tonight's episode.

I find both Jack and Kate annoying. To me they feel a bit .....I don't even know how to voice it. But I am never one to like the main characters of a show. It's the supporting cast that rounds it out for me!
