Greetings all. I just joined recently and unfortunately, I haven't really had anything to offer to any of these discussions until today. So, I am introducing myself and speaking my peace...and return most likely to lurking and reading all of these wonderful theories.
Having been obsessed with ABC mystery television shows before ("Twin Peaks" being the torchbearer), "lost" has impressed me to date with every single episode. While just fooling around on Wikipedia, I clicked on the life extension link on its "Hanso Foundation" page and found that the man who started the whole thing in real life is named Denham Harman.
D. Harman
D. Harma....
hmm...
I didn't know if this had been posted, so I searched the name and found no results.
It might just be a cool reference from the creators or maybe it's a hint towards where the series is going....with Locke being able to walk again, Hurley not really losing weight, Jack's dead father walking around and his body not being in the casket...who knows? It might be the pseudo-scientific answer to some of the strange happenings on the Island.
Anyways...I really like the discussions about this show here and I just wanted to contribute a little something to the pot.
