I assume everyone else saw the preview claiming an extended episode next week. However, I've not found anything online saying it's going to be more than the usual 60 minutes. Does anyone else know what's up?

I think it'll be like it was all those times last year. It probably wasn't publicized because a) people might have assumed as much anyway since it's a sweeps episode, and b) it'll only be like 5-10 minutes more.

Because it would hurt ABc to make it's most popular show 90 minutes for one week, right? :)

A lot of last years episodes went over a few minutes and a lot of people complained because they were taping and the tape stopped, so I guess ABC is just giving people a head's up :)

I missed the extended episode thing, but I'll take whatever they give me. I do remember a few extended episodes last season like that. Although I seem to remember all last season, my digital cable showing LOST was on from 8:00-9:01, an extra minute every episode. Those were the days...

And here I was expecting a 90 minute extravaganza. Better check that TIVO setting...

I don't have an actual answer to your question. But my first thought was that this would be like another pilot. But the pilot episode for the tailies.
