Who will join me now in predicting a romance between Michael and Libby? Something in the way they have been looking at each other just tells me there will be more later on down the road. Anyone else seeing it?

Well, there seems to be something between them. I'm not sure I see budding romance, but there is a certain intimacy. It could happen. I think it would be nice for Michael to have someone to confide in who isn't the wife of his best buddy. :smile:

I agree with you that there seems to be a bond between Libby and Michael. However, I have a feeling that she is attracted to him by empathy and circumstance, not (yet) by love...though nothing should be ruled out at this point.

It's my contention that she can empathize with him, both professionally, as she is trained to do so as a psychologist, but also perhaps personally. It's my thought that she also lost a child, whether here on the Island to the Others, or to the "crash", or she had a terrible experience in her previous life in losing a child, or a child dying.

Hmm...I don't think anyone is going to be able to comfort Sayid for a while. The man seriously knows how to carry a torch. :mushy: He's been carrying one for Nadia for seven years. My vote (not that it carries a lot of weight) is either for Michael or Locke. Both of them seem way overdue, Michael more so than Locke. The fact that Michael has trust issues makes Libby a good candidate for him IMHO. :smile:
