View Full Version : Biggest Freak Out Moment??
Baileysdad 11-11-2005, 07:58 AM Speaking only for myself...I felt when that candle went out and we saw Walt standing in the shadow...dripping wet and speaking backward...that was the biggest hair raiser of the season so far for me...goosebump city my friends.
What is the biggest freak out moment for you this year so far or just in general over the two seasons??
ennui108 11-11-2005, 11:40 AM Both my sister and I were sutibley freaked out by the chicken man in Hurley's dream.
LostMyMarbles 11-11-2005, 01:02 PM Sayid seeing Walt. Never saw that one coming.
lostandwaiting 11-11-2005, 01:09 PM Any time Walt appears I think it is definatly creepy - I do agree that his appearance in the tent was the spookiest! I also got chills... Freaky.:msn-oh:
Oh yeah - That man in the chicken suit also makes my skin crawl.:scared:
venicebeachbrat 11-11-2005, 01:22 PM Both my sister and I were sutibley freaked out by the chicken man in Hurley's dream.
Too Funny!
I am also freaked out about the Walt sightings. I also get creeped out by the whispering voices! Gives me chills.....
imfromthepast 11-11-2005, 01:27 PM Cindy pulling a Sebastian Caine, hands down.
(Sebastian Caine was the name of the main character in Hollow Man, about a man who becomes invisible. Like Cindy did, when she vanished.)
addicted2much 11-11-2005, 01:59 PM The shark :velho: (dragonshark)
My second greatest fear is being attacked by a shark. So, when the shark was swimming towards my fave character:eek: I lost my mind.:ranting: :cursing::fear3:
My third greatest fear is clowns.:34: I hope Lost stays a clown free zone.
Skybluelost 11-11-2005, 02:09 PM agree with u guys the candle going out...sayid seeing walt...at least shannon left us knowing someone finally saw what she was seeing.. it was creepy when cindy disappeared too...
skybluelost:-))
LostPack 11-11-2005, 02:14 PM Oh yeah.. that candle going out and then drippy walt standing there. I not only jumped and gasped but leaned so far back onto my chair I rolled back making it more scary.
So far I'd have to say that Jack's dad appearing out of nowhere on the beach and this one would be the freak out moments for me.
hevnlee 11-11-2005, 02:14 PM I'd have to say my biggest freak out moment was last seasons "Teresa falls up the stairs, Teresa falls down the stairs" I suppose we'll never know why she did that...
Drake 11-11-2005, 02:34 PM The whispers this past Wednesday. I had the surround sound cranked and it was really creepy.
Luanne 11-11-2005, 08:40 PM My biggest freak out moment is also when walt appears, but for some reason in the episode ...and Found when Jin and Eko are hiding from the others and they walk by so quietly. That still freaks me out for some reason
Ihatejack 11-11-2005, 10:27 PM this season: the first wet walt sighting
first season: Ethan Rom staring at Claire and Charile when we first realize he is an "Other"
kanahina 11-12-2005, 04:18 AM When Boone has that vision and Shannon is killed by the monster...I totally freaked! :eek2:
Aurora10 11-12-2005, 04:32 AM I agree with a lot of you. lol Freaky Walt both times....OMG. That...okay, I'm getting chills as we speak. SCARY! Anytime Ethan would appear, I would freak. I'm terrified of him. Locke's vision with bloody Boone really scared me. It was actually very disturbing. The plane scene after that freaked me out, as well. What else? Ah yes, the shark. My heart was racing the whole time. In Abandoned, the whispers scared the crap out of me. *shudders* OH YEAH! How can I forget Jack seeing his dad from far away in the jungle? I could have had nightmares.
God's tom 11-12-2005, 04:52 AM When they all heard the whispers, & Libby started saying "Oh God!"
Then Ana screams "RUN!"
HAIR RAISING MOMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!
TabulaRasa 11-12-2005, 09:43 AM My biggest freak out moment was seeing Charlie hanging from the vine last year. My heart sank!!!
tuxxx 11-12-2005, 09:45 AM the 'others' child pulling the teddy on a rope. very ominous
EXECUTE108 11-12-2005, 11:00 AM >:| yeah, i agree with hevnlee, when boone was all bloody and saying, 'tearesa fell down the stairs. tearesa fell up the stairs.' creepy!!
i was freaked out when Kate was in the robbery and it transpired that she was part of it,in charge of it even! Until then i thought she was a poor victim, after that i thought she was one mean mama. Not to be trusted.
rachelislost 11-13-2005, 05:39 PM Oh god... okay, I agree with everyone else. I got chills the first time Walt appeared, but the second time in the tent, I was fully not expecting that and I literally shrieked and jumped up, I was so freaked out. THAT was intense. It wouldn't have been so bad if Walt hadn't been soaking wet and talking backwards!! I REALLY want to know the answer to this one.
But other then that, the other part that freaked me out was also back in the first season when Charlie and Claire were about to be taken by Ethan, and Ethan just stands there saying nothing with that horrid look in his face. *SHIVER*
jocko 11-14-2005, 07:03 AM biggest freakout moments for me:

benos 11-14-2005, 07:49 AM Sayid seeing Walt. Never saw that one coming.
Well you know he could pretended to see him. just to keep her happy?
The freaky part of Lost, is how Jack go into the jungle, did he suddenly fell with the tail end survivors, but a took a ride on the monster, and found himself in the jungle?
Monkey 11-14-2005, 10:19 AM I'd have to say my biggest freak out moment was last seasons "Teresa falls up the stairs, Teresa falls down the stairs" I suppose we'll never know why she did that...
Oh that is up there for freakist thing ever!!!
misti_is_lost 11-14-2005, 12:35 PM Any time the whispers are going..... I have found that instead of trying to hear wht they are really saying, I usually start talking to my husband!!! Drowns them out ;)
eatpilot1st 11-14-2005, 05:28 PM the gurls' hairy armpits...
jzunic 11-14-2005, 06:02 PM My biggest freak-out moment was at the end of Numbers, when they zoomed in on the hatch and showed Hurley's lottery numbers engraved on the hatch!
ApolloBear 11-15-2005, 11:36 AM the gurls' hairy armpits...
LOL!!!
As much as that IS freaky,
I have to say it's the same as your name eatpilot1st,
when the pilot got jerked from the plane
and later to see his corpse in the tree.
I guess lately it's wondering what's behind every tree
while they move across the island.
Namaste
pacejunkie 11-15-2005, 12:05 PM I agree with a lot of them and I 'd like to a few of my own:
agree:
Teresa falls down the stairs...
Charlie hanging
Kate behind the bank robbery
Drippy Walt in love shack
also:
Locke in a wheelchair
and:
Sawyer's knifed arm spurting blood
Sawyer digging bullet out of his shoulder
Jack pulling the shard from the Marshall
eeeewwwww, gross!
Willow7697 11-15-2005, 12:13 PM when Artz goes BOOM

i_love_dmjgmfna 11-16-2005, 12:04 AM My biggest freak our moments were when the others walked by in ...And Found and Locke's dream about Boone. Can you say creepy?
eldirion 11-16-2005, 12:49 AM My freak-out moment was in season one when the window lit up on the hatch when Locke was pounding on it. It was one of the "This just got a lot more complicated" moments.
belshep 11-16-2005, 01:16 AM There are definitely some freak out scenes. For me:
-- when the bird flew into the window at Walt's house
-- "Theresa falls up the stairs"
-- Jack finding the dolls in the caves
-- every scene with whispers
Kymra 11-16-2005, 02:34 PM The first time Walt appeared... And then listening to it played forward on this board!
Seeing the Others walk by is also pretty damn creepy.
jettis 11-19-2005, 03:40 AM I'd have to say my biggest freak out moment was last seasons "Teresa falls up the stairs, Teresa falls down the stairs" I suppose we'll never know why she did that...
I agree with you.
I really hope Shannon doeasn't die so that we can find out what that was!!!
DaSenor2427 11-19-2005, 02:04 PM I'd have to say my biggest freak out moment was last seasons "Teresa falls up the stairs, Teresa falls down the stairs" I suppose we'll never know why she did that...
OK, I'm confused. I thought Boone already eplained this in that exact same episode "Deus Ex Machina," it was like a 20 seconds before Locke spots the plane lodged in the trees.
Here's the scene I'm talking about from a transcript I found (This transcript is from http://www.twiztv.com/cgi-bin/lost.cgi?episode=http://dmca.free.fr/scripts/lost/season1/lost-119.txt (http://www.twiztv.com/cgi-bin/lost.cgi?episode=http://dmca.free.fr/scripts/lost/season1/lost-119.txt)):
[EXT. JUNGLE - DAY -- PRESENT]
(Boone and Locke continue through the jungle. Boone is practically carrying
Locke as they go. Locke's legs are nearly useless under him.)
(Tired and exhausted, Boone puts Locke down. He collapses onto the ground.)
(Boone sits down nearby.)
BOONE: She was my nanny.
(Locke looks at Boone, puzzled by this sudden statement.)
BOONE: (explains) Theresa -- she was my nanny. (Boone tosses his backpack off his shoulder.) My mother wasn't around much. I needed someone to take it out on. My bedroom was at the top of this huge flight of stairs, and I would sit in bed all day calling her on the intercom. One day she took a bad step, broke her neck. I was six.
(Boone looks at Locke. That was a heavy confession from him. He waits for
Locke's response.)
(Locke looks back at Boone - beyond Boone - and sees something. Slowly, Locke
starts laughing, a huge smile on his face.)
(Irritated by Locke's reaction to his heartfelt and dark secret, Boone reaches
forward and grabs Locke by his shirt.)
BOONE: So what the hell is so funny?
(Locke points.)
(Boone whirls around and sees it.)
(Hanging precariously off the edge of the cliff and on the branches of the
nearby tree is the plane.)
I really thought that was it, or are you looking for something more?
LarryJ 11-20-2005, 09:14 PM For me it was last season after they found out the others were comming. The first time they saw the smoke rising from the other side of the island.
