"Why is Sayid hugging Shannon?"

Yeah, I listened to it over and over again too...

Either that was really what is being said... or someone (who ever posted it on that other forum) did that themselves so we are all up in arm about the "fishbowl" thing.

I heard it... it was pretty clear... but, it was also in our heads going into listening to it that it is what we wanted to hear...

any thoughts?

I think I hear Sayid's name, but not the hugging part. This may be a red herring/joke, but its fun.

I can't listen to the clip right now because I'm at work and the connection is slow, but something is troubling me.

Walt was leading Shannon and thereby, Sayid, into the jungle. Towards Ana and her group. Who are, on purpose, nervous about running into other people in the jungle.

So, my question is, is ghostwalt leading Shannon and Sayid into the Jungle so that Shannon will run into Ms. Trigger Happy (no Ana bashing from me. . I like the chick. She's hardcore.) and die.

Or is he leading her to them so that they can help lead them out of the jungle and get sawyer help faster?

Hmmmm. The first theory fits perfectly into my Walt being an evil little bugger. But the second could be true as well.

Also, has anyone heard any other names in the whispers? Like maybe more "helps" or any other specific names. Also, has anyone been able to pick out of it's kids whispering or adults?

just my two cents. . . I got the little "hi castingcrownsfan, you havn't posted in a coon's age" message at the top of the screen and felt like I was letting the family down or something.

the whispers sounded like a man talking very slowly in another language to me.......couldn't identify anything.......damn old ears!

Yea i couldn't really hear anything either. But I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooo excited to see if they say what the others are saying. I can't wait til the next episode to see more of the others. Even though it scares me even when someone talks about them. Especially last episode when Ana lucia was talking about when they first crashed...

OMGOSH, that's totally cool, weird, and creepy all at the same time. (talking about the other's whispers) Who would be saying that??? How would they (others) know their names? FREAKIN WEIRD man. I had chills go up my spine when listening to that.

has anyone found a site with more complete Whispers transcripts? I'm only seeing the ones mentioned in season one (http://lostlinks.net/whispers.htm) and we've heard lots of whispers this season.
