I think the whole fight thing with Claire throwing the statue would be a nice way to do it. The only problem with that, is that Claire might not automatically think Charlie's doing heroin, since he just mentioned it briefly.

I think Locke might mention it to her. He cares about both Charlie and Claire, and seems to be someone Claire confides in when she's worried. She might mention that she's worried, Charlie's been acting kind of strange, etc., and Locke might decide she has a right to know. The more people looking out for him, the better.

I also think that throwing the statue might be a nice touch, which would, of course, force him to confess again about it. Either that or he'll relapse, and she'll catch him at it, or one of the others will and will explain it to her.

I don't think Charlie'd come right out and confess again unless seriously confronted about it. He's much more secretive, and doesn't like to mention it to anyone.

Whichever way it happens, it'll be a while, I think. We have to deal with the Other 48 Days first, and Sayid has some issues that CAN'T be left hanging for too long. So we may have to awit a couple weeks for someone to really confront Charlie about it.

I think Charlie is going to relapse and the stuff might be bad or something..and he gets ill. Jack will be mystified and say "I know what it looks like..but what it looks like is impossible'...and the truth will leak out. Just like Kate being a fugitive..everyone will know and Charlie will be the odd person out for a while..

Since Claire is already getting pretty frustrated with Charlie ("He acts like we're married or something!") I could see how she might come to a boiling point and throw the statue.
