.. maybe there are MORE survivors, other than the original Lost-aways and the tailies? Just something thats been at the back of my mind since i rewatched the pilot episode. Jack, Kate and Charlie went off to the nose to get the tranceiver, and found the pilot alive- well, that was until the whats-it showed up and ate him. But as they were climbing through the nose to get to the cockpit there was a distinct lack of bodies. yeah i know they cant show anything too gruesome, but there was one guy still strapped in his seat and for the most part the section of the plane was quite well intact, especially considering what had happened to it.
It would appear that the nose was in a region of the island where the security system or whatever it is seems to be, so if people did manage to get out of that section, and survive, it would stand to reason that they didnt stick around too long at all- hence why Jack and co might not have met up with or found them. Or else, the others may have gotten to them first and whicked them away. We saw how quickly the others infiltrated the tailies group, could have happened to the nose aws well.
Just to put it out there- i would not be at all suprised if later on we find out there were people from the front who are now, elsewhere on the island, if not integrated with the others.

Definatley, i think the producers will want to add some New Characters, however it's pretty likely none of the redshirts are going to step up and become main chararcters, and i think that a couple new characters will be added each season. And the only way to do this would be to have first class surivvors found, or another plane crash, or a cruise ship run aground

I think that people in first class may have survived, and are living somewhere else on the island, or are being held captive by the others.

I think

Yes, and the first-classies are languishing in the penthouse hatch. Wearing designer jumpsuits and eating pheasant under glass and caviar:biggrin:

We still haven't met all the fuselage survivors yet. We've only met twenty or so

its without a doubt possible but the nose was pretty close to the fuselage so i think they would have found them dont you think?

"but the nose was pretty close to the fuselage so i think they would have found them dont you think?"

Not neccessarily- at least in my opinion. It wasnt THAT close, it was about a days walk- they left in the morning and when they were running from the monster it was getting dark. And lets not forget that the Black Rock was only a matter or hours away and they didnt know it was there.
IF someone did survive and started walking- assuming the others didnt get them- then unless they walked in the direction of the camp, then its pretty easy i think for them not to have met. even if they came to the coast at another part around the corner, the Losties camp seems to be pretty centralised.
