This is an edit of my previous posts and a lump sum of my general theories.

These are all my theories for season 2 and general assumptions.. I am a screenwriter myself and have studied film and writing film.. so basic strategy of writing can assume a lot of what they will and wont do. Please feel free to elaborate or ask me questions on what i think will happen to who or what.

The numbers will continue to grow in importance, but will also fade into the backround for most of the characters. The hatch will probably be destroyed or seem to be before the end of this season. The reason being that it holds way to much information pertaining to the answers on the island. And come on, it's pretty likely someone won't push the button, whether it be purposely or not.

I also believe that Sawyer will play a much more "hero" like of a character. I believe he will be the one that finds Walt, it will probably become his "goal" if you will. And when everyone finds out what he has done it will make him not such a bad ***. So he will probably do something bad directly after. But because of his relationship this season with Michael and how michael doesn't really see him as his friend, but he does.. he will probably try and do something to helep Michael out.

About the Hatch. We will obviously find more of the fiml strip somewhere, I personally think it will be in the bible that was from the ARROW station. It will probably help piece together some information. Michael will learn about how it was inevitable that they all be on this island or atleast Walt. But no reason why. Just another mysterious Dharma thing. But with Ecko going down in the hatch it would certianly allude that in the near future it will become open for everyone to go down in it or that it will be more accepted to at least inquier about it. The food runs out in the next 4-5 eps.

The sickness. I think everyone is definetely down playing the sicknesss. A possibly theory is that everyone could be sick. Starting with Sayid. When he went to meet with Rousseua he came back and heard the voices. Then he told Kate and Sawyer i believe what he heard.. which passes it to them. They both hear things and see things in the jungle, Jack with his father ect. By now almost all of them are infected, which explains why they hear voices and see things. Maybe not. I don't think THIS sickness was really what Roussue was talking about. I think possibly they got something else, more dangerous. Maybe toxic? Probably not. I've seen certian things that point to possibly a black plague-esque. St. Sebastians Hosptial and Jack's dad being Christian and the tie-ins with the bible and Noah's ark, weeding out the weaker people. The sickness may even be carried over to our survivors indirectly by the tailies.

The sides. I think Locke won't have many on his side really, but I think he will have "Stronger" people if you will. I think Hurley will possibly be on his side depending on what he does in the hatch, which has since been noted that Locke did help him in a small way. Sayid will probably join his side in some way. I also believe Sayid will try or start a milita of some sort, seeing how Shannon was shot and killed and that there are other people in this jungle. Kate will probably eventually join his side because of the relationship that Ana Lucia and Jack will have. Now I dont think this will be so drastic as say they will form another living area.. but there will definetely be sides. And last Charlie and possibly Claire. Just because Charlie trusts locke and Heroine is present he will be a lot less inclined to use it. The rest stay with Jack.

The others. Well not much really to say about them but what most have already stated. There is a lot of Peter Pan refrences even indirectly going on. Them taking children, the whole time thing that one of the producers stated and how it is slightly different. Possibly ageless or timeless? I also think it is starting to show possibly two groups as others have stated. The boaties and the "goodwin others". They are not friends for whatever reason and are working against each other.

Everything else. I think we are down playing the monster, I think it is more mysterious than we are giving it. But I also think it should be noted that Ana Lucia and them have no idea there is even a monster let alone polar bears. So, they experienced the others and the fuselage experienced the "monster'.

Where were all the mysterious animals? They walked across island not seeing any? Hmm. And what were those caverns on the beach that Ecko was starring at then he decided not to go that route. I think that is definetely something to that. As interesting as I think it would be I think Ecko WAS on the plane. But probably has tie-ins with the island.

We will learn full about how Dark Terroitory or black rock. The others that took walt aren't the others Rousseue talks about. I think those others aren't as friendly as the ones she is talking about. Sayid will use the drug smugglers plane for building a radio. If charlie uses the heroine he will permanetly loose claire and could become a risk factor to everyone. Also, I still think Charlie is different since he came back from being taken by Ethan. More than we are realizing. Especially the last half of last season. We haven't seen enough this season to tell but I think he is definetely "up?" to something. I do not think that he will use the heroine but probably help save, say Sawyer by giving Jack it as a pain killer. It may stir things up with him and Claire.. but thats a risk he will have to take. But you have to remember, he has been sober for a while now, and it's probably a little faster process on an island with little food or water. Plus he has claire, come on. Rose and Bernard will reunite. But definetely a possibly death there. I would like to see it because it would be heart breaking on either side. But really interesting if they both died together and sort've became the next "adam and eve" corpses. Even more odd if they had white and black stones. Or would that be represented by their skin colors? Hmmm. Oh. We also need to remember that the tailies have a radio and now with Sayid he can get back to working on trying to find that signal to the station broadcasting it. Expect an attack from the monster extremely soon. Before eps. 13. This would be ideal after things get settled between the two groups. And then BAM! there is suddenly the threat of the monster again. And by then the tailies would have told them about "the others". And a possible return of Desmond or Rousseu. But ever stop to think that Sayid will now start to see Walt? Like when Walt gave the dog to Shannon it sort of gave her something she didn't have. Hope. He had some sort of faith in her and that allowed her to "see" him. A sort of seeing is believing type of thing. Back to the Peter Pan theory. You have to believe in it. Robin Williams in Hook anyone? So the more people that "believe" the more that they can actually see things or become clairvoyant. Now the biggest mystery will be what has Locke been doing the last few days? I'm sure it is something bigger than we expect.

A few things I hope can be cleared up by some of you. How did Ana Lucia know that they don't leave foot prints? We never saw any sign of her "tracking" or investigating really. Also, this whole appearing whenever they want kind of doesn't make sense neither. Because they mentioned that before Cindy vanished. So where was there evidence of this? Why such a threat of the Others? When they hadn't seen them for I think it was 20-25 days? And she killed Goodwin and didn't tell them right? But Why such a threat? They were fine and weren't attacked in the forest once. Nothing happened to them after they left the beach. No threats. Cindy disappear is unexplained and may suggest that she is an other. But there was no evidence that people were killed when taken and there wasn't an attack for the majority of the time they were there. And none in the forest. So why the fear? They ran as fast as they could and she acted like something was going to "Get" them before she shot shannon. So, did I miss something? Or is this continuity? And we didn't see much in the hatch even though the last few days or so that is where they were staying. Weird. So maybe they learned things that we don't get to see.

General questions I am wondering?

Where do they get there power from?
Whats up with the magnet?
What is the significance with their being a baby? I mean it would almost be easier if the baby is stolen again permanently... having a baby on the show will be weird I think.
The rope that leads sayid to Roussue goes into the ground at two spots.. where does it go and why?
Where is the transmitter coming from?
Why is the hatch there? Why did it say quarntine?
What is the monster?
What is the black rock exactly?
What is the importance of Adam and Eve?
Why were those corpses already rot in the lake when Sawyer and Kate found the suit case with the Gun? If nothing else it takes more than a week to begin to rot a corpse. And water loosens the skin but wouldn't make it dissolve. So what's up with that?
