Well, we've had three (I believe) Kate-centric episodes so far in this show's short history, and so far, we've yet to get a hint of what Kate is running from. And now we're having that carrot dangled in front of us again.

So will the writers finally cave? Will they finally reveal to us what Kate did?

And, more importantly, does anyone care at this point?

Seeing as how the episode is called What Kate Did, I think that they're going to let us know. Although with JJ and the gang, you can never be sure.

I could see them showing us something else she did, unrelated to why the marshall was after her.

I voted "yes" on the poll. I'm not sure they will show us, but I think they will definately tell us... well, give us an idea anyway, maybe the genre of the crime? robbery? fraud... Well, I really, really, really hope they tell us, anyway. If they don't tell us in this episode, I think they will definately tell us this season. They can only keep this going so long, especially now that they've reminded us that we're curious...

I see Kate as a slightly matured high-risk taker.

High-risk takers tend to be bright, have a certain disregard for personal safety, and a lack of processing mentally what could actually happen. Very High-risk takers (the ones I know, I teach 'at-risk' students...) also have other issues, including terrible relationships with parents, disregard for authority figures, and a focus more on what they want than what should be. It usually takes a life-shattering/changing event to get their attention span refocused.

We will only get enough information on that question to cause 6 more questions about Kate. Regardless I will await the episode with baited breath.

Ok Vertical I have just checked four different topics and you were on each one bashing how bad the show is. Get over it, there is plenty of other TV on the same time as LOST. And shouldn't this poll be in a topic for the next episode. On first glance it appears if you are asking will they show what she did in this episode and why would they do that? I don't mean to be a dick or to feed the troll but come on.

However,

My guess is that they will show something that Kate did, but it won't be the big thing. I also am guessing that Kate's odd look at AnaLucia's name tonight indicates that Ana and Kate have a history together. Which makes me wonder if Ana was not in Australia looking for Kate also.

Well, we'll definitely see SOMETHING that Kate did, but I seriously doubt it will THE THING that she did.

My Answer: Kind of. Some answers will be given, yet other questions old and new will remain.

I hope I get exactly what I wished for! I think the show tends to give out way too much information way too fast. I can't believe we found out who the prisoner was so quickly. I hope we don't find out about her crime for a long time...

I expect that the flashbacks for "What Kate Did" will be from the days right after she committed her original crime and she is being chased by the Marshall. At the end the little revelation/twist will be the Marshall revealing what her crime actually was. This way its left open so that in the future another Kate flashback can show her actually committing te crime and put an whole new spin on things.

The title "What Kate Did " could go in so many directions. If they don't tell us why she is on the run I won't be disappointed. They can drag it out till the the next Kate centric. I voted because I want Ana off the island!

I would probably have said, "No. They are gonna screw us over." But then, TV Guide says that the episode is gonna tell us what she did, and they never lie about anything. Right guys?
