who else here loved the exchanges between Ecko and Locke? there wasnt a lot, but the subtly of it was just awesome. You can tell those two completely understand each other like so well. I think their relationship is probably going to be one of the best ones this season

I'm really excited to see these two complex characters interact. It was interesting to see Locke asking the questions since HE's always the one tight lipped to other people. I think they'll get along for the most part, being men of faith, but I think they might end up clashing over some things in the long run.

I loved it. It's such a striking difference to see the calm way that these two react to all that's going on around them, and the frantic way that others do. I just love them both to pieces. If one turns out to be evil, that is just gonna stink.

I think Eko and Locke are very interesting characters. I'd love to see them interact more.

I'm incredibly happy to see them together now. Both Locke and Ecko take things as they come at them. Ecko also earned some points from me by standing up to AL and taking Sawyer back to the camp all by himself.

These are the two types of characters the Fusies and Tailies need to unite. While Jack and AL will probably clash...Locke and Ecko will be the tie that binds as the two groups begin to meld together.

I expected them to kiss passionately at any second. I can see them becoming the best of friends though, they seem to be on the same wavelength spiritually.

I agree with you all. Not a lot to dissect, but it was compelling.

Locke is my fav character, but I'm super interested in Eko now too.

I'm not sure anyone expected to find other survivors from the plane. And yes, it was great to finally see Eko and Locke together and I can't wait to see more of them interacting. I wonder what Eko might think of the mural. He did seem curious about the hatch, being so different from his hatch. And Locke would be curious about the Tailie hatch. Did you notice Eko fingering the Dharma logo on the wall?

I don't agree that they knew each other. Maybe they had spoken on the plane or noticed each other from the airport (both look like persons you would remember). But after AL killing Shannon and they tying up Sayid, I really wish Jack and Michael had gone out there with the rifles for a little Island Justice, old school, you know what I'm sayin.

I was suprised Jack, the Dr. knew how to handle a riffle like that.

Someone beat me to it, but in the whole interplay of black vs white, I think Eco is the WHITE and Locke is going to be shown as the BLACK based on the kinds of choices each makes. Eco doesnt seem to have alterior motives, Locke has been shown to have his own agenda ("Uh Boone just fell, ya thats the ticket...").

During that intense scene when Locke mets Eko we suddenly heard a voice in the room saying..
