HA! in another thread I said, we need a numerical rating system for the episodes. I gave Collision an 8 . It has a good beat and you can really dance to it :laughing:

I give it a strong 8. It's not quite up there with Exodus and ATBC, but still really good. :smile:

i rated it a ten, i don't know they just keep getting better for me, we finally saw some of the long-awaited reunions we have been waiting for, we finally got answers on the tailies, they finally stepped up and out of ana's shadow and moved on hopefully for them better things...ana and jack seem to have some unanswered issues...and i think sawyer may hold some keys to kate's coming clean, or why the skeletons will come dancing out for kate next week, i can't wait

An 8 most definitely! It made me laugh, get annoyed (Anna), wonder and cry all in an hour. How much better than that can you get?!

I gave it a 7, mainly for the tear jerking end and the Eko/locke thing.

To be honest, on the whole i think Lost is begining to go downhill, too much flashbacks and character stuff, not enough plot

I agree with the Eko/Locke aspect being the main positive of the episode....as soon as Eko realizes that the "main group" of castaways isn't a threat, I think he will naturally gravitate towards Locke....they seem to share a strong faith, and a strong sense of acting out of personal determination....should be interesting to see where their relationship goes

I only give it a 5, for the montage at the end, and the Churlie moment early on. Ana Lucia and her story just doesn't interest me.

I gave it a 9...I was completely engrossed...and that's pretty much the scale I grade things on ;)

Even though I didn't really symapthize with Ana...her back story was interesting. And the island stuff was phenomenal! :)

I gave it a 9 because I loved it so much. I cried and I even, shall I say it?, sympathized for Ana....It was really good, but giving it a 10 would say it was perfect, and nothing is, so, yeah....

I but 9 all in all this was a great epi. It is the start of a whole new series of things. I just got into work and every one loved it it here. I am happy they are all together now and maybe we will start getting a few answers as well as a few new guestions.:smile:

This was definitely the best episode this season, and i'm glad they are getting better and better all the time.

9 for me - one of my top 3 episodes. Ana and Eko add a new dimension to the group dynamic, and one that was sorely needed, IMO. More Lord of the Flies and less Club Med... the Tailee's REALLY suffered.

The tone of the episode was just so intense, it is something we havent had from LOST for quite a bit, I would say "Collision" is up there with: "Raised By Another" "Solitary" "...In Translation" "Numbers" and "Abandoned".
I thought it was beautiful, tragic and one of the best ever episodes of LOST and is up there with Raised by Another, Solitary, ...in Translation, Numbers and Abandoned - as the top 6 episodes ever. Though don't ask me to rank them... notice no Kate or Jack episodes in that lot.
Ana Lucia has a very intense background, I think that we will find out she was pressured into joining the LAPD by her family even though she isn't suited to the job. I thought the "I was pregnant" line was perhaps one of LOSTs biggest ever justification or hatred line - do you think two wrongs don't make a right OR was Ana right to avenge her unborn child. Also these flashbacks show us that a firearm is Ana's safety net and will be something she falls back on a lot - I don't think she is trigger happy just insecure. Either way this is perhaps the most tragic backstory on LOST - along with Sawyer re: Not the real Sawyer or Sun (who's story some don't find tragic, but I really think it is - that whole Korean arc is amazing in general), or Sayid.
Speaking of Sayid - Naveen Andrews' performance was stunning tonight, I was moved by the carrying of Shannon's body, his fight with Eko to avenge Shannon and his venemous hard hitting lines to Ana Lucia. If he doesn't get an emmy nomination for it then I will be disappointed. His parallels with Ana Lucia are very prominant - in fact so prominant that they contrast superbly. I think that eventually Ana and Sayid may become allies - but never friends.
Libby cements herself as my favourite LOSTaway - so much so that episode 3.02, which i'll post tomorrow, will be devoted to her backstory - and I think that she saw the chance to merge the groups together and took it, she had to or the Tailies would have been in the sh*t.
Michelle should get an emmy nomination for her performance tonight and to make matters even better, I know why she was wearing that hideous top - if I was going to kill a man in cold blood I wouldn't want to be wearing anything too nice either...

What is episode 3.02 ? The numbering I have seen used would make it the second episode of season 3.

I just copy pasted that from a post i made elsewhere - where i had written a script for my ideal season 3 opener and was egged on to continue writing -> i just forgot to edit it lol :P

I gave it a 9. It's the "Walkabout" of season 2 for me.

It started as a episode that is hard to watch. Ana acting psychotic, and no one really doing anything to talk her down, but it got better. I understand Ana a little more.
Loved the Sayid/Ana interaction. Naveen's acting was amazing! Michelle was really good, but I wanted her to show more remorse about Shannon.
Jin, loyal to his friends as always, not wanting leave Sayid when Ana told him to go.
Jack taking action to get Sayid back and his shock when Ecko said it was Ana who shot Shannon. That look he gave Ana and the end.
The nice reunions, not overdone.

This and Man of Science are probably the best of the season so far.

I gave collision a 10 because there are so many people who make worse episode ever threads that I have been forced to worship Lost, just to keep the cosmic balance.

I gave it a 7, nearly an 8, i really enjoyed it it just seemed to end too son, but they always do :(
