Hello everyone and welcome to our new group, The Lost Teens, or TLT. Many of us teens have decided to make this group because we thought it would be a good idea to make a place where all the teens that are fans of Lost could go. So if you are a teen and would like to join our ranks just come on in and post! Also if you'd like a special title post that here too!

(If this topic should be in the LOST forum then please move it there mods, but I figured since this thread is about the TEENS who like Lost it should be in Not Lost.)

Sorry, guys but I hate to inform you that I am a jater. :smile: So I'll be enjoying this episode. But anyway, I cannot wait to find out what Kate did! I'm not and haven't really been a big Kate fan since the beginning, so I'm hoping that maybe this epi will shed a different light on her and make me understand her a little more. And I'm ready to see some Locke and Eko interaction! :smile:

Last night's episode was so awesome! IMO, It was one of the best of the season, so far! And I don't know how I am going to wait 6 weeks for Eko's episode! They are really trying to kill us...

I loved last nights epi, best of the season so far I thought, I've seen a lot of posts on the fuse complaining about Kate's backstory and saying that it wasn't exciting enough or that it was too predictiable, but IMO it worked perfectly with the character and the show.

Unfortunately, it is true 41 days (Jan. 11 is the next epi). I'm not a big NASCAR fan but I do watch it occassionally (my favorite driver would have to be Mark Martin).

Hey im also a teen and would like to join!!! Wow its nice to see that alot of teens watch this show. I thought I was the only teen in the world that watched this show. I dont know anyone my age that watches lost.
I have been watching this show since the beginning. I'm also a jate fan as well. I think im going to join their group also. I loved the kiss!!! It was beautiful and emotional. But i felt that it was a little rushed. They could have waited and saved that moment for later. A year seemed like an eternity for us, but it has only been about 50 days island time. Thats less than two months. But anyway, i still loved the kiss. It was the best scene on lost! I dont know how im going to wait 6 weeks. Im dying to see how jack and kate are going to react when they see each other again!!!! I love them!!!!!
Oh and another thing. I've mentioned this before in another post. It kinda sux that there are no young people on lost. That upset me alot when they killed boone and shannon. The writers wanted to kill them bc they thought they were too young. They were both in their 20's. I certainly didn't think that was too young. I was sad that there are no young people, teens or people in their 20's. Everyone is in their 30's. Its kinda weird. In Kate's flashback, she was 24, and that was several years ago. So she's probably almost 30 now on the island. I thought that was weird cuz she's 26 in real life. I guess they want the cast to all be older and eperienced. I think it kinda sux, cuz i think Matthew Fox is hot, but he's almost my dad's age, so thats just really weird!! When i found out he was 39, i was really upset, it changed the way i looked at Jack. He doesn't look like it at all. Jack is probably 40 on the show, cuz everyone seems to be around that age, except for a few. I would prefer the cast to be in their 20's, from the girls being in their early 20's and the guys in their late 20's. I like older men! And for me 27 is old cuz im only 15. I think that age group is more fun to watch, and they would not be too young and not too old. Its just perfect. Ok ill stop rambling again!

Don't worry ink, I think Matthew Fox is beyond gorgeous and I'm 19. I've always had a thing for admiring older guys. They just look more sophisticated and to me, that's hott. Welcome and jump on over to the Jater Couch. You'll love everyone there. They're a great group!

hey, i'm 18 too! i actually loved that episode. it's probably one of my fave in the season so far. as for kate's backstory, i agree that it worked perfectly with her character. and about kate/jack, even though i'm a skater, i loved the way jack hugged kate before the kiss. i thought it was very sweet.:smile:

I know what you mean about a night out on the town. I went out with my boyfriend tonight and our friends to Friendly's and then we went to the mall. And now I'm home. :smile:

I guess the way I looked at it was like "nothing good ever happens to anyone on this island, and knowing that Walt was okay and that they could maybe save him is a good thing, so that couldn't really be Walt". Did anyone understand that? :smile:

Adding my two cents: I woke up at 11:30 this morning (and I had to set my alarm to get up then :) ), which really is pretty early considering last night I went out to a concert and then went to the hard rock casino :smile:

Really if you think about it, I didn't sleep that long, because I went to bed at 3:30, so I really only got 9 and a half hours of sleep. :smile:

charlieluv, it's already snow yesterday where i'm at. it's supposed to snow again tonight. i hate winter! i'm not ready for it yet.

it's finals week already in my college! it's so frustrating! i think i'm gonna fail 2 of my classes. well, the good thing is (or maybe not) that lost won't have new episodes until next year, which means i can concentrate more on studying.

I would love to. Snow-tubing sounds like it would be so much fun. I've always wanted to try snowboarding too. I've been skiing twice but I was too young to try snowboarding. Haven't been back in about 10 years. When we go on vacation, we tend to head toward warmer climates now. I recommend Playa del Carmen, Mexico or the U.S. Virgin Islands. They're amazing if any of you are planning a trip down south anytime soon. I've never really vacationed up north yet, but I'd love to sometime. Stay warm with all this snow coming in. We're supposed to get a little tonight.

Nice to see some fellow snowboarders! I love snowboarding! Here in my subdivision which is right on the Lake I have a neighbor who owns the expance of land right on the waterfront a few yards past the back of my house and he has HUGE gigantic piles of dirt so when it snows big time me and my friends are going to put big slabs of wood on them and make some big jumps!

i asked javi what they planned to do but i think the mods deleted it. Even though i clearly stated i meant no disrespect to Ms. Rodriguez, i was beginning to like her character.

It sounds like it would be a helluva lot of work if she died, because the y have stories planned for her (from this it sounds like a love interest: Click here (http://www.thefuselage.com/Threaded/showthread.php?t=27827). Dunno- just speculation), and they would have to rewrite a lot of stories probably.

people who saw GoF-- Whats different? I know there arent any blast ended skrewts or spew, or even a single house elf, and the World Cup is really short but what else?

2. no sphinx, giant spider, or other creatures in the maze scene
3. no ludo bagman
4. beauxbaton is not supposed to be an all girls school
5. durmstrang is not supposed to be an all boys school
6. no veelas
7. no leprechauns
7. no 1000 galleons for the tournament champion
8. sirius's face on the coals was all wrong. his head's supposed to be floating in the flames
9. dumbledore's reaction when harry's name was picked, totaly off
10. in the maze scene, harry hesistated for a bit about helping cedric. that's not right. harry's supposed to help him without even blinking an eye
11. snape's deatheater mark on his arm was not mentioned

just a few things i remember. but there's so much more.

They left out a lot... when the first one came out they were talking about doing a two parter for the 4th. that would be good... escept if they were released at different times. I can't believe there arent any veela. Except, I'm still pretty pissed that peeves isn't in it. Now they won't have the best part of Order of the Phoenix... When Fred says "giver her hell for us peeves," and he salutes them.

It looks good tho.

My friend said that Dumbledore visits harry in his dorm and talks about how he burned down his curtains. Is that true?

i still have 2 finals this friday and another one next week.:mad:

mine are all after break. Its good and bad. You get a lot of time to study, but it is hanging over your head the whole time.

Yeah, there is a complete scene with the pensieve.

Yeah, Dumbledore did seem mad at Harry, like he really believed Harry put his name in the Goblet himself.

And yeah, Dumbledore visits Harry in his dorm at the end of the movie and says he burned the curtains on accident. ;)

from what i can remember:

1. the dragon was not supposed to chase harry around hogwarts
2. no sphinx, giant spider, or other creatures in the maze scene
3. no ludo bagman
4. beauxbaton is not supposed to be an all girls school
5. durmstrang is not supposed to be an all boys school
6. no veelas
7. no leprechauns
7. no 1000 galleons for the tournament champion
8. sirius's face on the coals was all wrong. his head's supposed to be floating in the flames
9. dumbledore's reaction when harry's name was picked, totaly off
10. in the maze scene, harry hesistated for a bit about helping cedric. that's not right. harry's supposed to help him without even blinking an eye
11. snape's deatheater mark on his arm was not mentioned

just a few things i remember. but there's so much more.

Not to mention all the time at the Dursley's and Weasley's, and the scenes with Sirius in them which is a shame considering he is my fave character and He will be gone after the next movie (sniff)

I'm on my big Summer/Christmas holiday and dont go back to school till end of January but I'm in my final year now so I better concentrate this year so I can get my VCE and a high ENTER score.

OMG! Guys I just got back from King Kong...omg...

Special effects wise that was the best movie I have ever seen.

Overall it compares to Lord of The Rings and Harry Potter...it is the best picture of the year deffinetly.

I can't wait to see King Kong. Hopefully, I'll see it this weekend. I'm glad to hear that it's as good as it was anticipated to be.

well, you know what they say, opposites attract. and there's obviously a lot of tension between harry and draco and they're clearly obssessed with each other.:biggrin:

as for harry and ginny, hopefully they'll end up together again. but alas, poor draco's gonna be all alone.

I want to see Jack and Kate confront their emotions for each other. It's so obvious that they're there, but neither one of them wants to just let loose of the control factor and follow their hearts.

Being a teen on Lost would be so cool...but I saw this show about a bunch of teenagers stranded on an island with no adults or something and I was like, "What?!?!? This is Lost except it's infiinitely stupider!"

Anyways, I got into Kenyon College today, where I applied early decision, so I'm going there next fall :)
