View Full Version : So happy Sayid told Kate about Walt
LockeHurleySawyer 12-01-2005, 01:35 AM So many people didn't believe the last two weeks that Sayid really saw Walt and that he was only appeasing Shannon with telling her did because she accused him of not believing her. Sayid's face changed when Walt appeared, he had a look of shock on it and when Shannon asked if she saw him - he said yes. I knew he saw him...Cheers for the believers!!!
Sayid doesn't think he is crazy for seeing Walt. The way he said it to Kate.

Yes, I was glad about that, too. Now that Shannon's gone, there would be no need for him to lie about it anymore if he were only saying it to keep "getting with her", as some have said. So obviously he really did see Walt.
And now Walt is instant messaging with his dad! Or is it really Walt............?
LockeHurleySawyer 12-01-2005, 01:40 AM I don't know if it is Walt or not, but when the computer said Dad? I got the chills.
silveranswer 12-01-2005, 02:15 AM The scene tonight where Sawyer saw the horse behind Kate totally reminded me of the Sayid/Shannon moment where Sayid saw Walt. VERY similar scenes.
beagle1962 12-01-2005, 02:23 AM i was one who was convinced sayid didn't actually see walt--that he was just pacifying shannon. color me wrong again!!!!
LostMyMarbles 12-01-2005, 12:20 PM I'm glad Sayid told SOMEONE, just to get it off his chest.
But that conversation had more the tone of "You told me your dark secret, now I'll share mine to commiserate" rather than "let's all pool our information and see what can be done to locate Walt." I don't think this knowledge about Walt will go any further for awhile.
dparis79 12-01-2005, 12:29 PM Why doesn't Sayid tell Michael????? Its crazy!!! I realize he is dealing with the loss of Shannon, but wouldn't he want to help Michael get his son back?
BuffyMars 12-01-2005, 12:30 PM Maybe he doesn't want to scare Michael.
I'm also glad he told someone.
dparis79 12-01-2005, 12:36 PM Scare, shmare. At least Michael will know he is still alive. Granted he thinks he is speaking with him on the computer, but Sayid doesn't know that.
jackMEsawyer 12-01-2005, 02:27 PM Yes I was glad he brought it up too, I thought he was just making Shannon feel secure and not crazy, but now I know for sure...
jessieslost 12-06-2005, 02:45 PM The scene tonight where Sawyer saw the horse behind Kate totally reminded me of the Sayid/Shannon moment where Sayid saw Walt. VERY similar scenes.
I had the same thought. And then I thought- oh here we go again! This will be debated forever here. I'm so glad they cleared that up with Sawyer's comment. That was so funny!

You're not the only one beagle. I wasn't completely convinced until Sayid told Kate.
yoyoman 12-06-2005, 03:47 PM Yes, I was glad about that, too. Now that Shannon's gone, there would be no need for him to lie about it anymore if he were only saying it to keep "getting with her", as some have said. So obviously he really did see Walt.

I wonder if he is using AIM or MSN.....

Apple Basic, from the looks of that POS computer!
Slopster53 12-06-2005, 03:53 PM Scare, shmare. At least Michael will know he is still alive. Granted he thinks he is speaking with him on the computer, but Sayid doesn't know that.
Quoted for truthery.
piscescat 12-06-2005, 05:37 PM I've been waiting for Sayid to tell Michael - he almost did when he was tied up. But he told Kate. I'm not clear on whether Michael has explained to the whole group that Walt was kidnapped. I would think he'd have told them, but you can't count on what's not shown in an episode. They do tend to band together to help each other out although not everyone will go on a hunting party (thinking back to Clare & Charlie's abduction).
I got chills too - when "Dad?" appeared on the computer screen. I hope this is building not only to a reunion but also some answers about why Walt was taken and what the seabillies are up to.
