For some reason it makes me antsy. Like it should be more secure or something. Everyone just seems to come and go at will.

I'm not sure I trust Mr. Eko yet. What the heck is he DOING in there?

Eko's DA MAN!!!! And wouldn't you just be "chillin" in the hatch with a ping-pong table and some Patsy Cline? Personally, I'd be out golfing in the valley, but whatever.

True dat!

I think Eko's ahead of the game in some way too. I think he's got Locke figured out. This is going to be fun....

I'd be chillin in the hatch! It's so snazzy that Sawyer was sure they had been rescued. There's gotta be a playboy in the magazine shelf too, even if it's one from the 70's :)

thats funny, the question I had is "why arn't more people jsut hanging out in the hatch?" I know not everyone can fit down there, but still, if i was stranded on an island, with crazy monsters, I'd rather be the one place that sort of seems normal... well except that whole doomsday clock... and the arsenal.... so... maybe you're on to something, lol.

On the other hand, remember when Rose was hanging her wet clothes at the beach? Hurley mentioned the available dryer. Was it not Rose that said, "I don't like the hatch."

I do think chilling out in the hatch isn't that cool, they should be communicating more and trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Locke and Eko seem to be the only ones who are willing to do that.

No one's chilling in the bunker. They're all doing things like taking care of the button, taking care of Sawyer, Michael was checking out the computer system. It's a whole new thing for them and after over a month of living in the outdoors, it's nice to be able to be inside with some comforts of "home." Would you expect them to stay out of it? And keep in mind, it's only been about 2.5 days since Desmond ran off. They haven't been in the bunker all that long.

Yeah they are doing some things, but no one even really seemed that shocked about it, and no one is asking many questions or trying to figure things out, I'd like to see some brainstorming going on in one episode, kind of like we do on here lol.

I think we might have seen some brainstorming if 1] Shannon hadn't been killed, 2] they didn't have to deal with the tailies arriving (which includes Shannon's killer), 3] Sawyer being so ill, 4] Shannon's funeral ... it's just been about 2.5 days since this has been left to them. I still don't see how they could all be down there figuring out the bunker with all that's happened in such a short time. Locke and Eko, I think, will do the brainstorming now that they've found the missing portion of the film ... and Walt (?) has contacted Michael. Give it time.

You're right, I keep forgetting about the timeline. Still, I just wish the reactions were a little more intense, Sawyer's was the best one in my opinion, I bursted out laughing.

I would really like to see just one scene where they get the whole group together and just ask everyone what they know. Our main losties have seen polar bears and a horse, who is to say other strange animals have not been spotted by unfeatured lostaways. Who has seen what of the monster, the Others, wispers.. Just get everything they know together & out in the open.

Also, closer to topic, I don't understand why everyone is not down in the hatch. They blew it open so everyone could hide down there. Now that they know it is big enough to hide in and has some comforts, they decide NOT to bring everyone down. Doesn't make sense to me!

Seriously? How boring an episode would that be? It would be worse than a repeat or clip show. What's the point?

Kell,
One scene would not have to take that long. Also, I am assuming that some of the non featured lostaways may have seen something different that might add to the story. You could do this in less than 3 minutes & no I do not think it would be boring.
To each his/her own I guess.

i love how like people are dying, getting eaten, horses apparating from nowhere and all you can think about is if there's a playboy magazine in there....lol

I think it would take much longer than three minutes. You have around 50 people. Surely they're not all going to be calm about what they say or what they hear. You'll get people talking over people, people asking questions of one while another's trying to speak. It would be pretty hectic if there were a lot of things to share. And I also think, that while you have a good idea, it would just open up a can of worms for those that then would demand that "those" things be explained and complain that "they told us all these things and yet no one has found out what's what." I think things just have to be given to us bit by bit or it would be too much to take in.

Again, it's only been about 2.5 days and a lot has happened in that short period of time. Also, the Others did not show up or given any indication that they were near (as Danielle had led them to believe), so the urgency isn't as strong as it was before they got into the hatch. Also, some (Rose in particular) may not want to go down there. She said that she didn't want to be in there at all.
