Is it just me, or is there a gap between "Collision" and "What Kate Did"? At the end of "Collision", </there is some kind of stand off with Jack and Ana Lucia.> I was hoping that sth was said between them. I feel kind of disconnected.

It seems to me that their conversation over tequila trumps whatever else may have been said. Jack is reaching out, trying to mend fences with her. She feels alone, but now has to react to this overture of friendship. Can she be part of the group, or will her self-loathing drown her?

Yes - that scene was good; but I had wanted to continue last week's scene when they were standing face to face (when Sayid was carrying Shannon away). They had such intensity in their faces, like two leaders about to either have a major conflict - or a major bond. I just felt cheated on the lack of continuity there.
