Did anyone else notice that the scientist's hair was slightly different in the section of film they found last night than it was in the rest of the film it was supposedly edited out of?
In the rest of the film, the scientist's hair was very slick and neat, and in the "missing" section it was much less so. I'm not even one who catches a lot of these little nuances but it really leaped out at me.
Which leads me to believe that this section of tape was never really "missing" after all or perhaps not even part of the original film. If it were all shot at once, why would his hair be different?
Perhaps the original film was edited in a way to give the illusion that there is something missing, thereby creating fear of the unknown in order to keep the experiment from being compromised from those who may challenge it.
Perhaps each hatch has a different piece of film - each designed to look as a fragmented section of a larger project, but in reality, they are their own self contained films which only raise questions and heighten fears so people continue to press that button without asking questions.
