OK, at Mrs. Tater's suggestion, I am starting a new thread for those who think Sayid's pickup lines and declarations of undying love are cheesy. WE like them just fine (mostly).

So all of you who are contributing these lines to the "Sayid's dumbest lines" thread can come over here, and leave the rest of us to discuss the tongue-twisting long-winded exposition and nonsensical "scientific" statements we love to groan over.

I have already mentioned my favorite ("I only carry it because I have someone to protect") on the other thread, so will have to settle for my second favorite, from Ex2.

Okay...I have to admit I thought the bit about Shannon being a spinster with an overweight aunt was funny. Sexist, but funny. "Spinster" is a funny word.

How about "I found these [shoes] in the wreckage, and since I have no use for them myself..."? A practiced flirt the man was not. :)

(It scares me that, corny as these lines are, I actually remember so many of them.)
