Seriously though, yes it may be something, or it may not. It is a common saying afterall. Definately something that has spawned a few "time" related theories in the past (pardon the pun), not to mention this - my 1st post in Season One. If you're interested... something you could try is searching these boards for the quote "another life".

In bold, above, those were words that Nadia wrote to Sayid...he said that to Danielle in reference to Nadia's having written that to him, to explain that he knew what it was like to hold on to someone. But he did say it.

If we could ever figure out an accurate timeline, it would be interesting if those lines were passed directly from one to the other (Locke>>Shannon>>Sayid, am pretty sure that works)...but it's probably just a recurring theme. E.g., 2 people told Sayid (Nadia and Shannon). And Desmond told Jack twice. Never mind.:biggrin:
