Hi,
Was looking through oceanic air website and found the drawings Michael did for Walt. I assume he did these when he had his accident and hurt his leg.
He drew a picture of a man wrapped in bandages, who seems to be having a birthday also. I assume this man was in the same ward as Michael, possibly in the next bed to him.
It occurred to me, I wonder if this man will turn out to be another one of our Losties? Perhaps it could be Locke? (could he be one of the people injured in the Box Company fire? thus resulting in his paralysis).
Just some random thouhts really!

Yes, I'm pretty sure he drew that while he was in the hospital, however unless the man was 7 years old, I don't really get it being his birthday. There are 7 candles on the cake. He drew the card for Walt's 2nd birthday, which is pretty strange. (For the sake of argument, I'll table what I think the cake signifies for a moment.) Perhaps it's an anniversary of some sort, some milestone in his recovery?
There was no fire at the box company that we have been told about though. The fire was at a sneaker factory in Canada.

I figured he was drawing a picture from his head; he wasn't actually drawing something he could see. The man wasn't actually there in the ward, it was just a drawing.

I always thought the man Mike drew was white and wondered at it. He's made much of race in the past so to send his child a drawing of a white man didn't strike the right chord.
Unless - it was from observation.
That poor feller in the next bed is pretty smashed up - shattered even:
Could it be Locke? - he has balloons on his tripy profile thingy in the untold section here: http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/L/lost/
(may be elsewhere but that's where I'm looking at them now) what's the deal with the lions do you think? I'm going to have to go think about that.
