A recap episode? Bah I hate these. Kind of dissapointing.

Well, if nothing else it will warm us up for the new episode. There's been a few things that are a little different already.

You know, in this day and age you gotta wonder how they could be going for 2 hours in the wrong direction.

you notice they showed a scene between jack and kate talking about his tattoos? do you think that's just to show they have a thing or that his tattoos are important?

They've spent the first half of this recap episode focusing almost entirely on the Tailies episode. That's what, one episode out of 34?

When Locke and Boone were looking at the dead priest, Boone goes "What would a Nigerian priest be doing in the SOUTH PACIFIC?"

which is actually pretty funny since that was a recap episode.. so we have a recap of the recap - but thats ok because this isn't the ep.. it's a... a... a.. recap!

I guess they're giving referenses of what's happening with each group at the same time. I kind of liked seeing the radio scene with both sides. Gives you a more visual confirmation that the two groups spoke, though didn't know it.

Well, if nothing else it will warm us up for the new episode.

I agree, with such a long spell of repeats, it does get us all fired up and back in the mood so to speak. Plus a chance to watch and look for things we missed again.

yea, i forget where i heard it, i think in the dvd commentary on the pilot, but jack's tattoos were supposed to be /mean something important...

Well, from what I remember. Those are Foxy's own tattoo's. But instead of covering them up they left them in and wrote them into the show. Now you have to wonder, are they important to the secrets of the island, or the secrets of his personality?

It seems like they skipped over most of the first season with the original losties.

I agree, the covered most of the stuff that we should have a pretty fresh memory of, and passed on alot of the stuff which is older. Like the Polar Bear(s), Danielle, the cable...

Yes. Because as everyone knows, if we didn't see it, it did not happen.

They certainly do seem to be giving more attention to the Season 2 stuff. Half the main cast only got "token cameo appearances" for Season 1, and my girl Danielle didn't even get a mention. :(

Ah well, presumably the actual ep will be much better. I hope.

It's a good idea, especially considering it's dealing almost completly with season 2.

I don't remember Boone talking to another group at the time. I do recall from last Season that Boone heard - "They are all dead".

Soon the plane crashed to the floor below.

I also thought Jack's tats were explained/brushed off in the Season as something he did to represent some lost friends.

Wasn't there some new info in this recap?

maybe I'm just not understanding the definition of recap, but why would there be any new info? :biggrin:
