didnt we see the smoke blow up part of the plane after it landed?? Some people thought it was because of shapnel getting sucked in, but I remember seeing it in slow motion and seeing a black thing swoop down, maybe the monster brought the plane down or had more to do with it crashing than we thought? And why is the monster only on THAT side of the island, and the others on the other side of the island... humm

Now I think that the smoke could have brought the plane down. It could have brought a lot of the people there. I am confused as to how it got there though. Could it be a security system by hanso/darma or is it something more spiritual??

it was probably just an FX marker to keep track of the wind they didn't take out. it happens, these shows are turned around VERY quickly.
