Does anyone else think the "sickness" has started?

Danielle stated that she killed off her party because they all had the sickness. was the sickness causing them to see things, act upon them in ways that were dangerous to everyone else? Did they have to be killed before they killed?

How long did Danielle say her party was on the island before they caught the sickness? Isn't it about as long as our Losties have been on island?

About 2 months....about the same time as our dear Losties have now been there.

That is possible. My question is. Why didn't Danielle catch teh sickness? Maybe only certain people get it? Hmmm

That's a good thought Kitty!! That could be exactly what's happening...the beginning of the sickness.

Also, when Jack came around to look at the computer screen, there wasn't anything on it. Makes you wonder if Michael IS seeing things.

OH! Good one...last person standing. who's gonna judge your sanilty at that point? Maybe after 16 years she has had a chance to mellow out or at least seem to have a good reason for being goofy.
All i know is that i am sure they mentioned the sickness for a reason AND the fact that is started at about 2 months in. They made a point also to let us know about how long out Lostaways have now been there.

I agree, she's pretty crazy. I for one would like to know exactly what the "sickness" entails. Danielle never really elaborated, or did I miss something?

Ya know, in The Stand, the whole thing really got out of hand because ONE guy got loose and started the spread. Is Danielle gonna be the next gate jumper?

Just so you know DangerKitty, previews are considered spoilers. Many people want to have NO knowledge of upcoming episodes and don't watch the previews so they can watch without a tick of foreshadowing and in total suspense:)...Okay? I LOVE your avitar by the way.

As with any illness, there are a few people that are only carriers or ammuned. I believe Danielle said that she first saw it in their eyes before warning Sayid to watch those around him closely. Now, she could be lying or ill or whatever but she did warn him and he's busy moarning at the moment. IMO, she's probable slightly insane but who wouldn't be after everything that's happened to her? But I don't think she has the sickness or she would have joined the "Others" and been reunited with her daughter.

I do believe that Mike might be showing signs of the illness as well as Sawyer or Kate, whoever was really channelling Wayne. The fact that Sawyer was ill and weakened makes me think that it's Sawyer. Of course, Jack is also acting a little unbalanced if you ask me.

Kate has shown signs of loosing it and I think that you might be on to something with Michael coming down with the illness. Sayid has been a bit preoccupied to notice anything, but he might start noticing fairly soon.

But what if smokey caused the sickness? Maybe some people look at it and get completely freaked out about seeing things from there past, maybe things that they can't relive again or handle for that matter and go a little bonkers.......?

Also I wonder if Danielle being pregnant had something to do with her not being affected by the sickness....? (damn hormones......):biggrin: Maybe that's why they want the children......?

Definetly a possibility..... would also make sense that smokey goes around finds good people gives them some sort of immunity and leaves the bad ones alone.... then big bad roaring "Pilot's taste good" creature eats/kills the bad ones......

There are some out there. I resisted temptation once, but it's hard to avoid since the preview starts right after the episiode. I'm the type that doesn't like to know who's centric episode it is, the title of the episode, or even general things like Hurley gets a love interest Some of us like to stay in the dark, although it's not always easy. I also avoid any articles or guest appearence by the cast on shows because they usually let loose some spoilers. But now you know, and knowing is half the battle. :p Or whatever that phrase was. :laugh:
