UKKiwi 01-14-2006, 01:53 PM There is a tradition on here for you to say who you are and where you live so I'll start
I have family at home in Auckland, Hamilton, Napier, Upper Hutt and Christchurch. My daughter (who loves LOST) is in Napier at present with Grandma (my Mum).
At present I live in te Norhtwest of England in Greater Manchester (Derby Day today City beat United 3-1)
Glad there's a board for us Kiwi's and looking forward to meeting you all

Oh my brother in Christchurch supports Liverpool, I don't really support either City or United but I enjoy the Derby and was pleased that City got a win yesterday 'cos they'd not won for 11 matches.Utd are having a 'mare at the moment. Michael Glazer must wonder what he's bought!
gatoradenz 01-16-2006, 03:57 PM I used to live in Upper Hutt! But originally from Stokes Valley, Family in Carterton and Upper Hutt. Now living in Kansas
honerbright 01-16-2006, 06:41 PM :O I didn't know there was an NZ section here!
anywho, I'm way down in South Otago.
Ahwatukian 01-16-2006, 07:14 PM Isn't this what the Frappr map is for?
UKKiwi 01-17-2006, 02:29 AM Yes but that gives you the country - not the place; it isn't compulsory to post
Ahwatukian 01-17-2006, 09:17 AM Ummm... no, on Frappr, my "push-pin" marker is located at the coordinates of a street intersection very near my house... so yes, it does more than just give the country.
gatoradenz 01-17-2006, 03:57 PM I like that we can see where we are all orginally from, as in the citys and towns not just the country.

Also a lot of Kiwi's are ex-pats (as you can see) and it gives us a chance to talk and reminisce about home. I put my pin in where my postcode is (I live in the UK) but I come from NZ but can't put a pin there as I don't live there at present. So that's why

akasha_ishtar 02-16-2006, 02:00 AM Hey guys
The names Liz, I am new to the forum so I am just getting used to it. I live in good old Christchurch, lived here all my life and have not gone far out of it (that should change at the end of the year). Anyway hope to meet some fellow kiwi Lost fans here just as mad on the show as I am:) .
tvogie 02-18-2006, 01:04 PM hey, i'm from the USA!!! o yea! and i must agree with all of you...lost IS awesome. why else would we be here.hahaha.
dylan_1200 02-28-2006, 10:32 AM Hiya,
Im hoping they end up doing a convention here in OZ where im based at the moment or in NZ. New Zealand hardly ever gets the opportunity to meet the guys in the flesh like the conventions they hold in the US. I for one went to a few and they are just awesome when your a fan.
For example Ive met Michelle Rodriguez once and even got to shake her hand and say hello and to tell you the truth....I cant ever think of her as bad because she was just lovely in person. Ive met a few who arent so lovely either and as a result get to save a few dollars at the movies lol.
Tying this in to what the thread is about is the fact that maybe they can look at staging a convention in NZ.
Would be great!
KiwiMick 03-06-2006, 07:56 PM I live in both Auckland and Seattle, 9 months a year in Seattle 3 in Auckland. Would prefer to reverse this but for right now my kids are finishing up college and high school. My daughter has the smarts and marks to attend University of Otago and is looking forward to that in a year or so. I'm new to Lost and find myself addicted. My son gave the first season on DVD and I am totally hooked. I'll look forward to seeing all the theories from NZ !
aydans_mommy04 03-06-2006, 08:09 PM I live in the US:) I am from the beautiful east coast:) I live in Virginia very near Washington D.C. It is horribly crowded. My hubby lives 30 minutes from work and it takes him almost two hours to make it there in the morning!! I love Virginia, I have lived here all my life, but this is the first time near D.C. Anyone else living in the chaos of what is called Washington D.C?
