Hi Raggs,

Congrats to you and the shows family on the award.

long time reader, first time question asking person :-)

Have you read The Third Policeman yet?
Have you heard of Carl Jung?
and would you be able to woo (yep I said woo lol) a girl with your amazing knowledge of constellations?

I really cant think of any other way to ask these questions lol.

Btw, Im looking forward to the Claire ep. After 23rd Psalm, I hope you get the opportunity to allow us more insight into her character. The boyfriend/baby arc and being taken by Ethan obviously explains her hesitant nature to trust any man. But for some reason it still felt a lil harsh, her reaction to Charlie.

Kind Regards
Dylan

Hello Dylan,

1) I have not yet read The Third Policeman, although we have discussed it in length in the writers room.

2) Carl Jung owes me money...

3) and Yeah, if you want to go stargazing someday, I'm definitely your man. Seeing as you are from Oz, I want to say that I spent a year in your fine, fine country in 1995 and in particular -- a week travelling down from Darwin to Adelaide. We camped out each night in the dead center (and I do mean "dead") and, laying there in our swag bags, I saw more stars than I ever have (and likely ever will) in my whole life.

Thanks for that...

Raggs

Thank you for the reply, owes you money...lmao. He owes me a good 20 or so hours lol.

I read in previous posts that you had had an outing in Australia and seen its many wonders. I think thats fantastic, although originally Im from New Zealand, Australia is a beautiful country.

We have a small but growing group developing ideas on underlying influences on the show. Obviously the 3 questioned topics have had a good amount of input. But the nature of the topics require huge amounts of time processing and I think by the end we may end up with master degrees. In a way we are almost trying to do your job but backwards from each episode shown.

Is there anyway you could let us know that searching for influences from these topics is or is not a waste of time? It really would be much appreciated.

Again Thanks.
Dylan

Dylan, as far as I'm concerned, discussing these things is NEVER a waste of time. One of the things that makes this show so much fun to work on and (hopefully) to watch is the discussions that are born of each episode. You go right on trying to figure it all out, and if you do, please let me know what it all means, okay?

And I had the pleasure of spending four glorious months in your home country of New Zealand and had a superb time. What a great part of the world.

Hope this finds you well,

Raggs

Awesome thanks for the reply.

You certainly are well travelled. The good thing with NZ is its just tiny. So Ive run into Danny De Vito, Liv Tyler, Mike Keaton in a shop...Viggo on a plane coming to OZ, you wouldnt believe lol. Hey If I run into Peter Jackson anytime soon Ill put the good word in for you lol. Yah, like your gonna need it with the shows success.

Again Regards Raggs
