The only questions that Jack asked Zeek was about Michael and "Who are you?"

If I was Jack I would have put my foot down more and asked question after question and demand answers.

Why don't you think he asked more questions like regarding the black smoke, "why" they took Walt, and other things.

Jack is hasty. That is one of his greatest faults.

I would have sat down and cracked a cold one and asked a TON of questions.

<Sawyer voice> "Sorry, Freckles... we seem to be clean out of cold ones. Maybe you'd like a tequila in an Oceanic plastic bottle instead?"</Sawyer voice>

I think even if he had (which would have ruined the next 4 seasons for us), he wouldn't have gotten any answers. As we learned, he wasn't in a position of power.

Another thought is the situation. Of Jack, Sawyer and Locke, Jack had taken control. He had a one track mind - getting Michael back. Being surrounded with other's with guns being threatened, Jack was then trying to take control of Zeke and the "other's" in the jungle.

If Locke had been in charge, then I think there would have been some more dialogue and less threat exchange.

Maybe he should have asked, "What do you want?" (B5 reference there)

EDIT: I just re-watched that segment, and, what do you know, he did ask that too!

Other than getting answers about the Island is against the rules of Lost, it doesn't make any sense to me why he didn't try to get any more info out of Zeke. He blew it with Desmond and now he's done it again. Of course, the answer, if he actually asked, would be "That would be telling."

How exactly does Sawyer know Zekes name? Also did anyone catch the name of the person Zeke calls out for when Kate is being brought out? I thought i heard Alex. And if it is Alex it might be the French ladies son. He would be over 16 by now maybe that is why they purposely didnt show the person that brought her out.

Sheesh. When has Sawyer ever used anyone's real name? He just called him "Zeke" because it was kinda an old mountain man type name, which is how he looks. And Alex is a girl. I can't for the life of me understand why so many people assume it is a boy still. Of course I assumed it was a girl all along since the only Alex I know is my girlfriend. But still, Danielle has said it's her daughter. I went back and paused it on the arms of Alex, and it is definately a girl. I also think they only showed us the arms because it IS Alex. Either that or they just want us to think that.

Alex is a girl? Where did it say that. I guess I thought she had her husband and son on the island.

We all know by now that the fussies don't like to ask questions. Have they really pressed AL, Eko or Libby about what went on on the other side of the island, or Charlies and Claire being kidnapped, or Michael, Jin and Sawyer regarding the attack, or even questioning Ethan? Don't be surpised that Jack won't ask anything.

Questions???? You can only fit so much dialogue into each EP. Plus why ask a question when Zeke in his dementor/tone to Locke the other gun too??? Er ... (Locke thinking how did you know I had another gun???).

What I'd like to know is how the torches sudddenly all came on and how they just as suddenly all went out???

Maybe Jack should've let Zeke answer Locke's question ("How do you know our names?") before butting in with "You took Walt..." and then drilled him with a few more questions. Or at least Locke could've spoken up & asked a few himself.

I always guessed Alex was a girl aswell. I can't understnd why lotsa people still think she is a boy even one of my friends reckon she's a boy so I have a 10 dollar bet she is a girl so when I see her next I'll show her Exodus part 1 and get my self an extra 10 bucks.
