Thirdly, she came up with the idea to make all those garden plots!
Fourth, she knows how to garden from using stuff she finds in nature.
Fifth- she's planting both food and medicine!
Sixth- she's divulged her "English" to only two people on the island, which makes her really good at collecting knowledge through eavesdropping- and seemed to boost her respect in the eyes of Kate when she found out (see...sneaky girls like other sneaky girls!)
Seventh- she just rocks, what can I say?

It's good to see a post like this! Sun doesn't get nearly enough attention from the fans. She's beautiful, compassionate, strong, intellegent... she knows herbal remedies for headache, asthma and probably more (such as, obviously, poisons), that even Jack, the resident doc, was clueless about. (I loved how she simply showed up with a "needle" for Jack to use on Boone's blood transfusion.) We need to sing her praises more!

yup, you're right. She's a great character, she's reliable, independant, free spirited, smart, good looking and this list can go on and on and on and on. Guys, there are two ships about Sun. one is S.UN. Worshippers and the other is K.A.U.N.S. which i started! yay

Speaking of Mr. Paik, another thing- how did Hawaiian Shirt know that Jin and Sun were intending to run away? I mean, by that point Sun had made her decision in the airport NOT to run away, but Jin still intended to get to California with his wife and start all over again. Sun's plan was so secretive (the "Interior Designer" who was so adamant about how she was to escape and not tell a soul), and Jin never discussed it with anyone but his village fisherman dad. (My boyfriend says: that's cause they're the mob! they know everything! they know the signs when one of there own is leaving the flock! Sorry...but I don't buy that excuse.)

2) He pays a hitman to kill the ppl he's not happy w/
3) He somehow knows Sun and Jin's every move!!

I agree....actually I think just about EVERY character is due another flashback BEFORE JACK AND KATE get another each. First on the lists (up there with Sun, maybe Claire- I'm still curious about her parentage, maybe Hurley- hello? mental hospital???? and Sayid, just because I like Sayid...) is Vincent (yes, Vincent- where were the cargo hold scenes we were promised, dammit????!?!?!?!), and Shannon (fair is fair, everyone else got one...why not the spoiled brat too? I want to know why she's so bitter and selfish- wtf happened to that girl???)

As for Mr. Paik and the mob...I don't think he is in "the mob" per se, but is a very powerful businessman, and as in some cases in industry historically, the lines between "legitimate businessman" and "mobster" get blurry. I wouldn't doubt he's got some serious underworld connections, but to go as far as to say that he's Korean Mafia or whatever...I don't know that that has really been made clear. I mean- they're doing a serious job of implying it, but the VIPs (JJ and Damon, et al.) have been very slippery about answering the question of Mr. Paik's real business. Yeah, he makes cars. Sure...and what else?

No, the reason for a Shannon flashback, above all else, is parity and fairness. Besides, that girl has sustained some serious damage in the past- abuse, molestation, something to make her as warped as she was most of last season. I just want to know what! And yeah...I like the idea of Ian making another appearance. In "Exodus" when he appeared I felt a wave of confusion- I was happy to see him, and happy that he got to hang out with all his "Lost" friends even after his character's death, but at the same time knowing that Boone was dead...it just made me a little melancholy.

Walt does need his own flashback as well, but as "Special" included at least one scene where Michael could not have been present (the bird hitting the window), it was more of a shared flashback. The problem with a Walt flashback is...well...the kid's at that age where he's growing rapidly, on the verge of puberty. It would be hard for him to have a flashback showing him when he was younger, because he'll look older in the flashback than he did in the pilot for the show!!

and yes, SUN IS *THE* WOMAN!!!!!!

hey, i think everybody deserves their own flashback including Walt. And i think Walt's flashback will be one of the most exciting ones!! We will actually see what he really does with Vincent. Like, maybe he uses his powers on him who knows, or maybe its Vincent with the powers and he passed it on to Walt!! I think it'll be exciting and fun. Every character has had something traumatic in their lives. That's why they're going to have to show them all!! And I can't wait!

I would like to see Sun and her father interacting . Bring up those daddy issues :laugh:

ya, me2!!!! that'd be gr8 2 see!!! BUT, i don't think they would go back to korea, they would probably end up in America somewwhere. But of course they would be on the news b/c they've been rescued after being stranded on an island for like 3 months (lol, every season is only 40 days!!!!! so it might seem like a long timme to us but for them it's nothing!!! lolol) Then, mr. Paik would send out his men to search and hunt them down and return them to him. He is a bad bad bad man!! And plus, i don't think Sun knows that his father is an evil perosn!! I wonder if Jin will ever tell her!!
