I did a search and didnt find anything on this, hope this is the right place to post this...

During the Sayid flashbacks involving Nadia... the CIA lady Sayid was working with said they had found her in LA working as a lab tech in a medical testing co... weird huh ? So many Scientists (the bearded guy I think is Gerald Degroot ,the french chick was on a science expedition, Desmund said he was in medical school...etc)...does anyone else think she might pop back into the picture or find it weird that she too is in a scientific field ?

She could definitly pop back into the picture. Maybe she is on the Island. It is definitly possible. pretty much anything is possible with this show. I figure a story like Sayid and Nadia would need to be resolved somehow. I mean that is jsut the way tv and movies are. Either she will be on the Island or maybe at the very end of the series they will get off of the Island and the story can be finished. Or, maybe somone is connected to Sayid through Nadia and we will get to see their story that way.

We've discussed this a little in the past, but it was buried in longer threads...if I can remember where, I'll try to find it for you.

But yeah...it does seem significant that Nadia ended up in a medical testing company, especially since Solitary gave us no hint that she had a scientific background. Plus, the company is located in Irvine, which is apparently just around the corner (figuratively) from Locke's box company in Tustin.

It almost seems as if this HAS to come back into play....

I've actually considered that beriefly...but if she did I would hope it was an unwitting participant sort of thing.

I do hope she gets back in the story somehow, either through flashbacks or ending up on the island. That Solitary/Greater Good backstory was the most interesting part of Season One to me, and I'd like to see more of it.

I liked that when Hurley asked him about the radio Sayid wasn't interested ' what's the point' - and I thought he'd given up...but by the end of the episode he'd got it working and he and Hurley listened to it together - that was great, and I think is a sign that Sayid will be 'back in the picture' now.

I hope you're right. It would make sense. Did Desmond actually say "I'll see you in the next life?" (I missed that one episode.) Of course, I would hope that wouldn't mean she was "in on it" from the beginning.

Yer Desmond said that to Jack in the one where they meet when Jack sprains his ankle running all the stairs of the football stadium. I can't remember what episode it is though.

Desmond said "I'll see you in another life." Not "I'll see you in the next life." It was in MOSMOF.

DESMOND: Oh, and you don't believe in miracles? [Jack chuckles and shakes his head] Right. Well then, I'm going to give you some advice anyway. You have to lift it up. (He may be saying "lift her up".)
JACK: Lift it up?
DESMOND: Your ankle. You have to keep it elevated. It's been nice chatting.

Still suspiciously close to what Nadia wrote on the photograph though.

So close, that unobservant me didn't even notice the difference at the time! :) Still, considering Desmond *did* show up after saying that to Jack, it's still plausible that Nadia will too.

I do hope that's a sign that Nadia will show up. But maybe that was a one shot deal...why, though, make such a momentous backstory and drop it.

just wandering if anyone has noticed nadias face when sayid and her are confronted by sayids superior officer when hes helping her to escape, when he first walks in and asks whats going on, the look on nadias face is one hell of a grin..... i dont know if id be smiling like that at that particular moment....and she looks extremely shocked when sayid shoots the man.

Didn't we just see Nadia again in...(spoiler font for those not having seen Ep. 2x17 Lockdown)... Ep. 2x17 Lockdown backstory, getting the home inspection from John Locke?

I had to watch it twice..once after I read that...

same actress is credited with both roles so it is yet ANOTHER connection to them all...

-nadia is clearly alive and well in califonia, and curerently unmarried, as of the last flashback.

-it seems kinda strange to me that sayid had been searching for nadia for a great deal of his life, and he was very close to getting her, but then he lands on an island for 2 months and so much for that, lets hook up with shannon?
