First of all you guys rock. I'd also like to thank you for giving Korean American actors a chance to be something other than martial artists.* *:)

Secondly, about the process of writing the korean parts of the script. Is it written in English and then later translated? If so, who translates it?

The reason why I bring this up is because some of the korean sounds rather awkward. For example, the interior designer who gives Sun advice in the episode "House of the Rising Sun" says "dangshin" too much. (Not that you'd particularly know what I'm talking about, but anyway..) I'm thinking most translators could easily have reworked that scene and avoided that problem.* *:(

And on that note, I'm sure you're aware that Japan is the country of the "rising sun" and that title itself has some particularly negative connotations especially to Koreans. Was there a point to titling that episode "House of the Rising Sun", other than it being a pun? Should I give you the benefit of the doubt and think that it was a reference to the mixing up of Asian identities in American pop-culture?* :-\

Wow, now that I read my post it looks on the most part quite negative and the questions more rhetorical than anything else. I didn't intend that at all. I'm a big fan of the show and am really pleased to see the performances of Yunjin Kim and Daniel Dae Kim on a regular basis.
