I was sooo excited when I saw that you were visiting the Threaded Board today. I really wanted to post a question, but I was afraid you would feel stalked mobbed by all the attention. :biggrin: I know I speak for many others when I say, I hope you will be back to visit often. :smile:

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that Michael is one of my favorite characters in the show, and that I'm really distressed that he hasn't been present the last couple of episodes. Still, I hope you have enjoyed your time away from the set, and that you have gotten some much needed R&R.

Now for my question...
While Michael isn't perfect, he seems to be one of the most normal/moral characters in the story. I really appreciate your performance, and the fact that you keep him very real. It ramps up the drama when you feel that this character could easily be someone you know. I read an article some time ago that was posted in the Harold subforum about how you sometimes feel that Michael is unusually unlucky. That was pretty eye-opening for me. Now, I personally feel that Michael maybe isn't so good with words/communication. Watching your/Michael's interactions with Jin and Sawyer have kind of driven that point home for me. It seems Michael wants to express friendship, but has trouble verbalizing it sometimes. What other personal traits do you think some of the audience may have missed, and should know, about the Michael character?
