I just posted something about this. Before Sawyer and Kate started thinking it wasnt an Other, I said that I doubted it was! I mean, when they attack, they usually don't just leave someone behind! Sun wasn't struggling enough to actually excape from an Other! That is why I think it is Anna Lucia too! She in the previous scene said something about how everyone thinks they are safe, so she just gave everyone a reason to be scared!!!

More like the hypocritical fan girls will turn a blind eye to Charlie and Sawyer's actions.

I don't think it was Ana. My guess is that it was a plot between Charlie and Sawyer, but that is just a wild guess.

I thought it was pretty clear at the end that Charlie was the one who nabbed Sun...and Sawyer thought of the whole plan.

Um.. did you guys watch the episode? It was hardly ambiguous. Charlie attacked Sun, working with Sawyer.

It's clear. Charlie did it. He even told Sawyer, "no one can find out what I did to Sun." Or something like that. Besides... Sawyer & AL aren't going to work together until Sawyer wants to con Jack or Kate.

So the guy who looked like Charlie, spoke like Charlie, and was Charlie, was not Charlie? The guy who clearly laid out the entire plot of the episode, was Tom Cruise in one of those Mission Impossible masks? C'mon, there's a bazillion mysteries going on with this show, you don't need to create ridiculous ones just because you left the last 2 minutes of the episode to grab a beer from the fridge.

Just to be clear, my message was meant as a joke, posted after the conclusion of the episode. The first message by someone else was posed during the episode while the issue was open. The last few messages acting as if there remained any issue are beyond my powers of explanation.
