View Full Version : Hurley con on Sayid? Herk 02-08-2006, 10:29 PM Hurley didn't forget the radio. He did it on purpose. What do you think? Baileysdad 02-08-2006, 10:29 PM That was great...Hurley is da man! It worked too! Crazyhatch 02-08-2006, 10:31 PM Hurley turnin into Locke! Doin' life lessons. So much fun, too many repeats! amathews99 02-08-2006, 10:32 PM Of course he left it on purpose. That's pretty obvious. ~Amy Cuttler 02-08-2006, 10:34 PM He knows that Sayid is still in grief. We wanted to help take him mind off of that but understood why Sayid lashed out. I’m sure he left the radio behind knowing that once alone Sayid would focus on it. DangerKitty 02-08-2006, 10:34 PM I was hoping that the radio would at least get Sayid to mention Shannon....that the last time they heard a transmission, Shannon was there to translate it..anything!! HELLO!! Sayid doesn't even seem to remember she ever existed. Cuttler 02-08-2006, 10:37 PM I was hoping that the radio would at least get Sayid to mention Shannon....that the last time they heard a transmission, Shannon was there to translate it..anything!! HELLO!! Sayid doesn't even seem to remember she ever existed. I didn’t expect Sayid to mention Shannon (I’m sure he was thinking of her but it was probably to painful to mention). I was waiting for LOCKE to mention Shannon during either of his speeches about everyone being harmed. Especially when he talked about what happened last time. I guess I’m still waiting for the so called “messy conflict” to occur. Herk 02-08-2006, 11:00 PM Do you think Hurley's "con" was spiritually motivated (cheer him up, get him to talk about his loss)? I really really think that there is more going on here. Hurley's got something other than an arm and a joke up his sleeve. shadow23 02-09-2006, 02:00 PM That wasn't a con what saywer pulled was a con Dino 23F 02-09-2006, 02:23 PM i dont think you can realy call it a con either, he was tryin to do something nice. Slopster53 02-09-2006, 02:24 PM Not a con, just doing his boy a favor with the radio. I'm glad he's trying to communicate with Sayid. It's exactly what he needs. Sleestak 02-09-2006, 02:39 PM Not a con, just doing his boy a favor with the radio. I'm glad he's trying to communicate with Sayid. It's exactly what he needs. Right, not a con. Hurley knew if he left the radio Sayid couldn't resist fooling with it. Herk 02-11-2006, 07:42 PM That wasn't a con what saywer pulled was a con i dont think you can realy call it a con either, he was tryin to do something nice. This is the way I thought about the word "con" during the hour episode of the "long con": Sawyer said that a con is getting someone to do something and making them think that it was their own idea. That is what I thought about Hurley, the radio and Sayid. |
