Hey Raggs! I was told by Fury that you and Dawn were the ones in charge of those diaries on ABC.com.
I'd just like to say: great job on them! As usual, everything about Lost is overwhelmingly good! (He also said something about you being his b***h, but I have NO idea what to make of that ;) )

But don't go yet! I still have a few questions for you : :P ;)

-Can we trust these diaries to be true to the show? Or are they just promo writings that don't relate to what's actually going ot happen?
-Can you (or would you?) please tell us who is writing them, and what actress she is? I think I''ve ruled out the main, known characters, but I could be wrong. Unless she's meant to just be an annonimous writer...?
-any idea if the diaries will come in play somehow in the future? :D
- What's this about Kate and Sawyer being holed-up on the beach the night of Claires first nightmare?
-who's Larry? That red-haired guy with the glasses? (no wait, that's Lance... Right?)
-and finally, why were the diaries upwards of 10 gone for such a long period of time during the winter break?

Sorry to take so long to get back to you re: the diary. Believe it or not, I just learned how to use the threaded board and,specifically, how to enter and navigate the threaded board (thank you to LostSerenity for that!). I will try to answer all your questions for you:

You are correct, I write the diary entries with Dawn Kelly, my fellow writers assistant. She's very talented and a pleasure to work with. You are also correct about be being Fury's b*&ch, though, to be completely honest, even I'm not sure what that means. I enjoy the time I spend with David as well, and talk about talented!

You can always trust the diary entries to be true to the show, although they are not and never were designed to be episode recaps, but rather a chance to see what being on the island would be like for any one of the survivors. The entries deal with what is going on in her particular "world" on that island, on our show. Does that make sense?

As far as who is writing them, she is one of the original 48 survivors of the crash of flight 815, but not one of the main 13 "Stars" of the show. We have taken to referring to her as "Mustang Sally."

Lance is another of the survivors of the plane, who clearly has a "thing" for Sally. That's all I can say about him.

And I don't know why the entries were missing for so long. ABC administers the site and someone dropped the ball over there. Thankfully, the problem seems to have been corrected.
