Hey, what is to stop the Others from finding the guns? I think they should lock those bad boys up in the safe again pronto. And where can you hide guns, other than the hatch, where they aren't going to get wet or be affected by the acidity of the soil. The caves mayby? :cool:

I thought the same thing.

Do the others really need their guns? While they would be disarming the Lostaways, I'm not sure they feel the Lostaways are a threat with or without weapons. I think they only took the guns in the jungle as one more way to assert their power over Jack and the rest.

"The Others" didn't need the guns to take people in a blink of an eye. They have their own clever ways of attacking. Remember also that we haven't seen the entire island and we don't know if Sawyer has a special place he's discovered himself. As you may or may not have noticed, the island is full of suprises.

The biggest thing from stopping the Others from finding the guns is they have no idea they should be looking for them! If they knew Sawyer had stashed them out in the jungle, it'd be one thing, but if you look at it from their perspective...why in the world would someone steal all the guns from his own crew? Pure madness.

I think they'd love to have them, though. Their job would be a heck of a lot easier if they knew the castaways were unarmed.

The more I think about Sawyer hiding the guns the more I think he found a nice hiding spot in the hatch.

They are probably right under everyones nose.
And Sawyer can keep an eye them without anyone noticing.

If we see Sawyer in the hatch more often, I wouldn't be surprised.

I agree that they are probably hidden 'in plain' sight but I don't know about the bunker unless he had found a vent or something the others haven't.

I have been joking that he has them buried in Ethan's grave. :D (Hey..it worked with the "Black Rock". :)

Here is my theory

In the upcoming episode,We have been told that Sawyer will find out that Hurley has not been truthful with the group, and it will have something to do with why he has not lost weight, what if Hurley and now Sawyer have found another hatch/bunker and this is where he is storing the guns. In fact, this could be how he discovers Hurley's stash. He goes to check on the guns and find Hurley eating.

Could happen.

Probably not - Sawyer doesn't know about the Black Rock, neither does Charlie. They never went to it. And even if they did, they wouldn't want to go trekking THAT far into the dark territory to store their guns - what if they got caught by The Others along the way, or the monster?

Maybe they're in the other hatch. Sawyer, Michaal and Jin have all been there.
Of course so has AL, Libby, Ecko, and Bernard, so maybe the guns aren't there.

I dont think he hid them in the other hatch - thats a 2 day trek across the island. I dont think he buried them either - I dont know much about guns but getting sand in them cant be good. Although the losties do seem to have an endless supply of blue tarp so maybe he wrapped them in that and buried them. Maybe he hid them in the cockpit wreckage - no-one seems to go there anymore so it may be fairly safe - if you can avoid the monster that is..........

if he's been planing this he's probably had time to build a nice safe, dry hiding place somewhere

I like the idea of another hatch or the Black Rock but I don't think they had time to go very far. They are close. And if the Others are watching, at least enough to know all their names, they probably could find them easy enough. I think Locke should get Vincent to find them. Perhaps Sawyer hid them in a tree or something.
